There is no date yet, except form what Lili said in the El Universal interview about a Spanish song being released "soon" . . . from which we get an idea of it being this year anyway . . . first a single though.

EDIT:

from the flyer, it appears that the album will be out in the second half of 2009. But a single MAY arrive to us sooner than that.

It seems that... Alizée records her next album at the Institubes label [Note: David Rubato's label -Ben], known for production of high-volt electro (Para One, Chateau Marmont, etc.). It will be a concept album [] loosely inspired by the tragic life of Edie Sedgwick [also the subject of 50/60 -B], actress and model who arrived in New York during the 60s, attended The Factory [Andy Warhol's studio -B], and died of an overdose in 1971 at the age of 28. "What she wants, Alizée always gets". The evidence in this fourth album!

I'm curious... Fifty Sixty is a great song but a whole album just Electro? I would prefer more Pop... hmm...

hmm . . . with all the sporadic info we have so far, this 4th album appears to simply be a grand mix of styles, in a similar to how she viewed Psych. . . . but maybe more obvious, this time . . . a clearer, more noticeable style difference between songs.

For those worrying abut "electro" influence, I wouldn't worry to much, or put too much into the fact that she is recording in studio that deals a lot with electro . . . She knows David, and became a link for her to this studio. . . it's all we can basically assume thus far, if that.

@Z3RO: What do you mean "someone doesn't like change"? That's not the point, the point is that I simply don't like electro-music... if you have a problem with that, deal with it...

@HRO: What is it that you don't understand about a concept-album. It's simply an Album that follows a certain concept (hence the name). Which means that the songs don't stand for themselves but are connected to each other in a way.

I never have heard such an album and I can't imagine how this should work... I mean they are connected - that sounds to me that they aren't really different to each other.... but I have no idea about music... so I'll wait

Think of a concept album kinda like a book. The whole album is the novel, and each song is a chapter. Each song works together to tell the story.
