Well, one of the Ferrari's made it to the finish, and second place no less. Congrads to Ruben Barichello.

I missed the whole weekend, but from what I read, sounded like fun, and I didn't have time to read much.

Some screens of my favorite moments I didn't get to see.

    Michael Schumacher gets hit

Ralf Schumacher eats it in qualifying

and this, Rubens sitting in the pit in qualifying waiting his turn I think. Can someone who saw this on tv explain? looks like they got him a lap time and telemetry moniter so he doesn't have to get out of his car. ?? He looks like an F-18 pilot now.

Looks like I won't be missing this afterall, I just downloaded the race on bittorent. Will watch it later.

I paged through it a bit, I don't get why there is a no tire changing strategy for all 50 laps! Is this a new rule, or are they going to do a 2 stop tire change next race?

I promise for now on, to get it a whole lot sooner though.

Yes, Jang, it's a new rule...now cars are not allowed to change tires for all the race and they have to exploit the same engine for 2 races. I don't agree about this new ideas in F1...

Ok, guys, I told you Renault is the best team at the moment, and Alonso is the best driver. Poor Ferrari

Hey Manu and Prometheus, keep calm, it's just the beginning...you'll see what Ferrari is preparing.

They were right, I mean, Alonso won for the second time in his career, and a win for Renault. But Ferrari DID get second place, via Barichello, so....that's still pretty close.

Jango, Barrichello retired and Schumi was 7th. Renault have won the two races and Alonso, who has got 16 points, heads the championship. Schumacher has got 2 points until the moment. The ones having pressure here are Ferrari, cos most probably they are gonna premiere their new F2005 before they had expected and had planned. That's good, F1 is a spectacle again

I hope more teams would be fighting for victories. The F1 was SO boring with Ferrari's winning every GP. If McLarens would get some more luck and Williams' would get their cars to go it would make the sport so much better. The more the merrier!

Prometheus, though I'm a big fan of Ferrari, I agree with you, F1 should be more spectacular, with more teams fighting till the end of the championship.

The crowd who attend this tournament is a biggest crowd in Malaysian F1 circuit since 7 year ago..105000 who watch this race at circuit..its totally higher than last year which is 85000 because of the race clash with Malaysia national election

I like the way things have gone so far especially Toyota getting it together at last. Superb drive by Trulli. Very suprised with the progress made by Red Bull as that car is only an evolution of last years Jag. But what has happened to BAR? Out after just two laps with an engine blow up and they had new engines so its not as though those had done a race already. Come on Honda this must improve.

What does everyone think of the new qualifying system with agregated times?
