I can't believe that it has been this long for me following her . . . . she is now 26, and it doesn't seem that long ago to me, at all. It is one more reason why this particular birthday is so special. . . it rounds out the sweet 16 and the bittersweet era of her current career. . . . Where will this new "year" take us . . . and her, more to the point!?

I can't say that I worry too much about her music career: all I ever really cared about was that intangible thing throughout her career that made this forum and her fans so special . . . there have been many artists, and many fans, but none like THIS artist and THESE fans. I feel as if it is also OUR birthday, in a way . . . . we have come a long way on this journey . . many have left and a lot have stayed through thick and thin.

Our whole business here is a testament to the ups and downs of daily life, as experienced through following the life and career of this special girl called Alizée . . . a microcosmic experience of laughter and tears as witnessed in the great world that exists outside these great forum walls.

I take this op to wish Alizée the absolute best, and many joyous days ahead . . . I hope that we can share many more here as a community that I see as the lighthouse in the storm . . . the ship whose sails never break . . .

This forum is what it is . . it has THE history, and IS still here since 2003 DUE to Alizée and the great fans that adore her. . .
