What would you do if you met her?

I was thinking about this earlier and actually thought I would make a poll question, but what would you do if you met her? I would hope she was with a translator b/c I know I would just stutter and eventually pass out and I hope someone would be there to explain to her what I just said. Her English can't be that great. Also, what would you say? Me-"Ohmigod, you're Alizee. I can't believe you're in Texas of all places! Can I sit and stare at you for awhile?" Of course, I have a fantasy version where she speaks perfect English and the two of us live happily ever after. Seriously, I know everyone here has thought about what they would do if they ever met her, and I was wondering what y'all think you would do.

she probably thinks of herself as a normal person and doesnt take well to people passing out and screaming.so i'd play it cool like i was happy to see her tell her how great her music is smile alot try some small talk ask her out for a coffee see where it goes and if nothing id go home and wank myself senseless!

mh, i guess it depends how much time one's would be capable to spend with her. if i'd met her in a bar or something i would start talking with her like i would with every other "normal" woman. and if we could "find a link" to each other (u know what i mean) maybe it would be possible to spend even more time with her and become friends and/or even more...who knows :) if i'd have only minutes i'd suggest her to look at my town in sunset and that from the air (yeah, like in ta movie pearl harbour) and the reason behind that is: 1) she may love it and 2) up there she just could't escape from me (at least for a while) :mrgreen:

Back to the original point of the thread. I find alizee as beautifull as anyone and she is truly amazing, I also have respect for her as all people but at the end of the day she is a person like any other. Same desires as everybody here (except she's probably seen hesrself in the shower :D ), joking aside, I'm pretty sure she likes to do things we all do and to talk of similar things. Dont anticipate too much on a person being difficult to approach because of who they are. I'd bet a few Euros that she would be understanding of peoples nervousness around her and accomodate the fact. Like I said she is still a lady much like many others, and I mean to take nothing away from her by saying that.

If you would be as eloquent in French as I would be in English (or any other language), then I'm sure she wouldn't understand it. See my previous post to read what I think I would be able to say. If you weren't careful, you might say something like, "You are such a beautiful chair and I love the way you tree." The point is - rehearse. Maybe you could be lucky enough to find someone half as beautiful and half as talented as she to practice on.

Depending on the occasion and the situation.



1) accidentally meeting (e.g. by chance while I was checking

in somewhere in France on an Airport and suddenly Alizée

appears there because she's on the way to a schedule) :

Don't really know how to say hello (in French of course),

e.g. "Bonjour Alizée, ca va ? Quel surprise/occasion?...."

According to french habits, I would attempt to greet

with these -> left cheek-right cheek-to-cheek "kiss".

(they don't really kiss, they touch each other with the

cheeks as our french fellows surely know). Such is

very used between girls, but also between people who

have good attitudes to the other one.

After this I would ask her how she is, and probably

where she's on the way to, and if there's short time

for an autograph. Well. Assume I have no cards or photos by hands currently, I would ask her to write something

on my t-shirt (YES, that would really be great to have

Alizée's handwriting on a T-Shirt...).



2) "planned" meeting (Tour Concert, TV-Show, somewhere else):



Same as above (if possible and crowd is not as great)

Having an autograph on some on her photos, and likely

some words to talk. Probably taking some photos of

me and her together with my camera - if possible.

If you have the occasion: Buy flowers before the concert

and try to give it to her before/while breaks/after.

This is a normal way of doing, so the securities mostly

will let you through for giving the present (please ask them

friendly wether this is possible and that you are coming

long way from and that Alizée is your most-beloved star for

whom you are doing such high expenses especially...).



That's the way I did once with another star (of belgium,

in 1998) and got asked afterwards wether to sit with her

having a glass of Wine. (Yes. indeed, someone came after

me and asked me this and I got into the theatre again,

just because I had flowers - no one else had!). :shock:
