Journalist: Since you have been showed in “Graines de star” (fist tv appearance of Alizée), all have been very quick. Did you have time to understand what happened to you?

Alizée: Of course. During 1 year I’ve travelled through Europe to promote “Gourmandises” at such a point that it’s really good to hear French language now. Abroad I took some detachment. I’m proud of all I’ve done. If I had to do it again, I will do the same from A to Z.

J: For the “graines de stars” competition, you had sung “C’est ma prière” of Axelle red (Belgian singer). Now that you’re a singer, did you follow her career?

Alizée: It was especially the song that I like. I admire all these singers for what they did but without any fanaticism. When I see reactions of some people around me, it’s strange. I have some difficulties to imagine my photo in their room. And god, I’m receiving so much mails....

J: In the opposite of many stars who only want “courtisans” around them, it’s possible to work with Mylène farmer without admiring her?

Alizée: Of course, otherwise she could have chosen among her fans the singer of Moi ... lolita. Me I practised dance and I copied her choreographs. Now I’m part of her universe and I know all her songs. We are from the same family.

J: Did you envy the distance and the mystery of Mylène Farmer?

Alizée: It’s her career. Mine will be very different. With me, everything is simple, easily accessible, and full of “joie de vivre”. She’s still here to advice and help me. But for the rest, it’s her own work, image and life. I’ve learnt to understand Laurent and Mylène for 3 years now. But we are still working the same way. I choose the music, Mylène writes the texts and we see if Like them. We are 3 to decide. Except Moi..Lolita, all the songs of “Gourmandises” have been created for me. It’s the same for “Mes courants électriques”. But the album is more punchy, with more guitar and more drums. We can’t always do the same.

J: The professionals are persuaded that if a young singer can realized a great career, it’s you. You don’t have a big head, you are determined, you are able to be quiet and listen.

Alizée: It’s flattering, but this description is rather right. But in this job, it’s not the artist or his circle who decide. It’s the public. I’m conscious that to last will be very difficult. I’m preparing of the fact that everything could stop. But I do not have any problem to sleep.

J: You’re 18 and you can use legally the money you earned.

Alizée: To earn this money has changed nothing for me. I always had what I wanted. I continue to buy small things but the most part of this money is at bank.

J: We often dreams of celebrity to go in Paris.

Alizée: Not me. I’m working at Paris because it’s a necessity but I don’t like to let behind me Corsica, my parents, my friends and all those places I like. In Ajacio, I did the same things than before. I go out with my friends. I’m putting away my room. I didn’t have the feeling to avoid the real life.

J : While you are giving this interview, War in Irak is mobilising very young girls like you in the streets

Alizée: Of course, I hear and I see what's happening.. I have some thoughts about that but I have no opinion to tell you.

J: You are careful?

Alizée: No I say what I want to say. I'm not coached for interview. But I've been advised to stay natural.

PS: Ok guys, sorry for the mistakes. I did my best but don't forget that my mother language is french :D
