I was wondering ... wouldn't it be nicer to have live versions or covers on these singles as extra tracks, instead of those xl dance versions which are not always state of the art ! Tell me !!! :?:

I would complain, if it weren't for the fact that all the remix singles up to now have been pretty consistent in quality. The "J'en ai marre" one takes a little getting used to, since it's not quite as good as the others, but I like it a lot.
Personally, I'd prefer new studio tracks. But the teen pop industry doesn't work like this unless what they're throwing on there is a mediocre/subpar song made by some producer that had nothing to do with the rest of the main album. And since Alizée is produced by only two people who oversee every aspect of her image, it's not something I have any hope for. The remix singles, no matter how good they may be, show just how commercial the entire enterprise is.
But speaking of live tracks: does Alizée sing live or lipsync in concerts? I've heard her sing live on a couple studio performances--not overly great but pretty adequate--but for the most part, it's all playback. I know that a lot of the time this is forced upon artists by the shows they appear on to avoid technical issues or strains or image problems. I was just wondering what she actually does when she performs in venues for her fans alone.
(That is, if she's even had a concert before. But I suspect she must have when Gourmandises came out, right?)

On the other hand they cannot playback all the time; Guess the fans won't appreciate it if she would do so all the time ! But still, it would be nice to have quality recordings of some France Gall covers !

Well, I guess it depends on the situation--you have to pay careful attention sometimes. I always laugh when I watch Britney concerts: all playback, but the mic gets turned on as soon as there's a lull in the music, so that she can breathe heavily and throw a coquettish smile for the fans.

Indeed ! Happens a lot ! Anyway, I hope that won't be the case in Alizée's tour !
