Manga Look!

Am i alone to have noticed the "manga" look of Alizée?



Look at the cover of her "J'en ai marre" single:

We know that japanese version of "J'en ai marre" called "Mon bain de mousse" will be released in Japan at the end of april and that she has made a japanese commercial ...

moreover Alizée will go in Japan in 2 weeks to promote her album...

She seems that japanese people are like all of us ... Fond of love with Alizée :D :wink: :D

Hmm I don't really see any "manga" look. Manga is painted, Alizée is real. Manga has big eyes, Alizée hasn't. I don't really see what you're referring to...

Japanese? Again I just don't see it, Alizée is a beautiful Corsican woman and she looks Mediterranean not Japanese.

The Mangaattributes are of course very abstract, seems to be too abstract for the most of you people. :roll: I think what C3PO meant was this kind of surrealism which comes near to the worths represented by Manga. Surrealism is bussines as usual in the commercial mediabussines, but you can ask what are the influences. And the influences of the pic at the beginning of this page seems to come from our japanese friends. it's this position she sits like she wants jump and bite somebody and it are the hairs hanging in front of her face - very mysterious. If her eyes were as big as in Mangacomics it would look a little bit scary. :shock: This M-like style just fits to her optic and her image.

Alizee does not look like a person from japan, but i must agree that she does look as though she could be in a manga cartoon or comic. Manga is mostly based on cool characters not always of japanese origin, anybody who has seen fist of the north star must agree that kenshiro looks mediteranean (Japanese dont have curly hair), i'm italian and look similar(bragging). Anyways, with a perfect complection, big beautifull eyes and a smile to warm any heart Alizee looks too good to be true. If anybody need further proof look at Battle angel alita. Also that fantastic outfit with the hotpants has the shoulders off japanese school uniform. Make up your own minds but I think the guy has a point. May not be Manga identical, but is the Omega in female beauty.[/img]
