How did you hear about Alizée?

I cant help but wonder as to how those of you who don't live in France first heard about Alizée.



I don't live in Europe so I first saw and heard Alizée on some world music awards. Can you believe she only got a fifteen second spot?(I guess the TV stations here in the US didn't think she was important enough for anything more than fifteen seconds)

She was singing Moi... Lolita and she was wearing what she usually wore when she sang that song, so as soon as I saw her I said :shock: “GOD DAMN SHE'S HOT” plus the song was cool. Needless to say I immediately started looking for info on her and ever since then I've been a fan of hers. (all it took was a fifteen second clip for me to get hooked)

I've not been such a fan of Alizée for long. Her video clip, Moi Lolita, was out here for some time, and I did see it quite often on tv, but at that time I wasn't really paying attention to her. I was more like "ah it's only pop, screw it" at that time. I was really ignorant. What really cought my attention was the performance in Amsterdam she gave on 30-04-2001. It was broadcasted by TMF (a quite popular music tv broadcaster here in NL) and I was like “GOD DAMN SHE'S HOT”. After that I didn't hear of her for quite some time, but somewhere in september 2002 I believe, I was browsing through a forum and saw some pics of her. I really liked her style (and smile) and I started searching for videos and music of her. Since then I've become a big fan of her. :mrgreen:

Well I first heard of her in the period that I still lived in NL, the first time that she was at TMF, I actually felt in love with as well her as well the song ... since I have been a big fan. Nowadays it might be more then just a fan :S

Me, I am french, so I have seen her first in the "Graine de star", I think it was the first time she was singing on TV ..... :roll: :roll:

First I have seen her on German VIVA a music broadcaster. It was the officiall Video Moi-Lolita, and she was so cute, after a while I searched for Information about her on net, and nothing really attracted me that time so i decided to build my own homepage. Now really many very interesting and nice Hompages from all over the world are online. And I like them too, thx to those guys ...

My introduction to Alizee was fairly recent. I saw her on some web site with pictures from the papparazzi. I had never seen her before but I was curious. I checked some web sites and found out she was a singer. I downloaded some mp3s and videos of her's. Now it's like an addiction.

What about me, my way to Alizee was a little different. I've been in Paris for 2 times and I've been charmed by France, Paris and french culture. This time I heard too much music from radio, watched clips on TV, etc. And I like it! Last time I feeling great nostalgie about it and started to look for good french music on the Web. I can say, I found Alizee by accident. And I've been charmed by her. I like her voice, scenical manners and more...

BTW, also I found another one good french singer, Robert. Too sad, she's not so popular in Russia, where I am. And I even cannot find there CD or people who have it. :cry:

I have to addmit.....I know what your talking about. If you can't tell by my Alias ...I'm from California and I am telling you, I live in one of those places with NO mention of Alizee anywhere . I first saw her about a Year ago on the world music Awards....Ever since then I have been buying all of her Cd's online..

I THINK IT"S FUNNY though that I first learned and found out about Alizee before I did Mylene Farmer...lol..

I was overseas in Italy last summer and saw her "Moi..Lolita" video and I thought that she was hot and the song rocked so I thought I am going to have to remember that song to download when i get back to the states. It was another 7 months before I had the software(i just got a new computer in Jan.) It's not that surprising, reading these messages, that I was able to remember her name and song, but there is an unbelievable shortage of her MP3's on programs like Shareaza, Kazaa, and Morpheus.
