Hello Orion,

I was delighted when I discovered your last video "Fading like a flower" released on the forum.
I immediately downloaded it, and started to fear the worst when I found out that VLC is not able to open it (no codec WMV3).
Well, hopefully, Windows Media Player for mac could play it, so I felt relieved I wasn’t stopped by those little technical issues.

I found this video very lively, cheering, and soothing so different of the morose mood of the forum these days.

It was great to keep fresh in my memory her so charming face; you have saved from dust incredible pictures, my favorite being the black-and-white close-up on her gaze.
Also you collected very artistic composition from members of the forum, including yourself, and that’s a blessing for occasional members like me who don’t have time to lurk and discover them the very day they are released.

I smiled at the credit page with the Orion from Hollywood. Last film I watched this credit page was Robocop 3 in early 90’s... if I remember well.

May I venture a little possible improvement? The transition (fade out-fade in effect) between the different musical themes sounds too quick to me. I have felt an interruption at these moment. Not sure you did that on purpose.

So, Orion, many thanks for these almost 8 minutes of happiness. My new born daughter felt asleep on my chest while I was watching it! No better proof of positive effects of Alizée on people’s life.

I am looking forward to watching what will come out of your imagintation next.

Thanks for telling me that bit about you and your daughter, bro . . . nothing else matters. . . I am sure she will make you proud, the angel that she is :D

The transitions were done purposely, but at other times, I could not change them or the whole timing would be off (this is due to a system failure I had early on while making the vid - the failure was caused by the amount of editing I was putting into this production).

btw, I was going to post that I did not use anyone else's pics, but then I remembered that I used one that I altered . . I don't rememebr from which member it was from (it's in the WP thread). I am talking about the pic where the word "cute" in pink is seen on her knuckles ( ie. 5:53 ) That is the only one I used that was not entirely my WP. All the rest are mine. But now you have made me want to look again and see if I missed something. (I will post back here after I look at the WP thread for the lost author of that WP . . . I just altered it by adding the face on the left and some other minor stuff).

Actually I had notice the WP from alizeebest, and since I wasn't sure of the origin of several others, I had made the quick assumption that several other talented members may have contributed... but I was wrong and you deserve all the credit for the vid.

haha . . . alright. I got worried there for a bit that I subconsciously copied other people's work (pheew)

ANyway, I am working on a remake of "Angel" now. I want to use some of the new footage that will be incorporated in this vid ina whole new way . . . but I need to work with Photoshop also; so this might take a while.

( I promised myself that I would do this remake, and then no more )
