There shouldn't be anything scary or surprising about this since accounts are only deleted if any of the following are true:

1. The user account has never been activated.

2. The user has never logged in.

3. The user has never posted.

Just like what the e-mail says, as long as you're an active member (ie, you've posted at least once), your account won't be deleted. Lurkers can still read the forum without registering anyways.

i would have been Toc De Mac right around now if i didn't go inactive

The amount of time you've been registered has nothing to do with ranks; it's the number of posts.

I was an active member for quite a while...i know that Ranks have nothing to do with time but still, at the rate i was posting, it would have been easy to get 3000
