View Full Version : The Other Side? Discussion about afterlife and the spiritual

I have been into the paranormal and stuff lately.. for example astral projection and remote viewing.. and i've done some research about it..
And my conclusions are.. well there exists something else other than the physical world..
I've been surrounded by sceptics my whole life nearly... but though since my mom is catholic and stuff i've been asking myself.. "is there a chance that the spirtual world exists?"...
Well now i would say YES....
Some weeks ago i had a successful RV-session... when i tried it, i just did it for fun.. didn't expect to get any results...
My first try didn't went well... but after some minutes.. i thought.. damn i'll try again.. and then suddenly.. after 5 minutes of relaxations and concentrations on the given "coordinate letters" i got this image in my head... not as a simple fantasy.. because the key to achieve a successful RV is to clear your mind totally.. no room for fantasy in other words!!
But anyway.. after some minutes of totally blankness.. a picture of a boat suddenly shows up.. the thing i see is the white hull of the boat..... and then later on i checked the image... and... i was pretty chocked over the result.. because i thought it was just my mind playing some tricks...
If i just was lucky? Well perhaps... but i don't think so....
Anyway it's not just the successful RV-session that made me more open minded it's so much more.. but i guess i save these parts for myself..
I hope you guys don't think of me as an idiot or fool or something... but i expect some sceptic posts.. and sceptics are always welcome!! i respect them as long as they respect me and my beliefs! because it's the human nature... we want to have proof before we believe in something.. and for me.. i had enough proof to know what i should believe...
And for your information.. i don't try to do more RV sessions since i don't think we should play with the paranormal... Guess we aren't made to understand this since the time is right...

First of all, I have to say yes, there are "other sides", different worlds, universes if I may say, afterlife too. What you experienced was simply described as visions from other worlds. As weird as I may sound I tell you that is not quite necessary to have visions from the afterlife. It would be simply a vision of another paralel world or just a simple mind trick. Some experts in paranormal say that we only perceive things in this world with our senses. There were many people who encountered other entities or object in the spiritual world, and some people even had a so-called before death experienced, stating that they saw the very common light at the end of the tunnel and more after that. Some entities, spirits of known people from this world, that died, or unknown (strangers). It was amazing reading their statements about their experiences with the spiritual world, telling very little different stories.
My opinion is that there is a spiritual world. There is the cycle of life, and there is this theory about every thing, animal, flower, man or woman in this world (entities) that has their opposite. You of course remember Ying and Yang, black and white, water and fire, good and bad, man and woman, 1 and 0. This is the confucian theory of every entity must have it's opposite. So this world has it's opposite too. And the opposite of this one has the same. See? After death there is life coming, and vice versa. We die and we are reborn. And then we die again, to be reborn again. This cycle is infinite. Now of course every one can come with their own theory, different than what I said here. But this is my concept so far. You said you wouldn't wanna play with the paranormal again, of course not since you don't understand it well enough to trust it for playing with it. You might wanna research some more. You will be amazed on what you will find out.

Well it's interesting indeed.. And i've read several near-death stories.. and i must say that many of them are amazing.. but as with everything some are of course made up.. but i can't believe that everyone is...
And as for remoteviewing... for those who doesn't understand that phenomena.. well let me try to put it simple... Take a picture of something physical.. write some random letters on it.. for example "AF4G".. and hide the picture in the basement or something... The task for the remoteviewer is to see what the picture is showing...
If remoteviewing is accepted as a fact not just as pure bullshit as some scientists think.. well then it would be a proof that everything is connected...
I know what i saw... and therefore i know what to belive and what to think in that matter...
And about that thing to continue with my exploring of the paranormal world... well i don't know.. actually.. i haven't really found out my religious beliefs yet.. therefore everything is put on hold for the moment..
But of course i'm reading about it and researching on it without doing it myself.. if you know what i mean...
See.. all headbangers are not devil worshippers :P

I would like to think there is an heaven or afterlife . . .
but theres so many religions out there, how do you know which one is the right one. . . or are all them right?
if there is no afterlife, then i would like to come back as a rich white male, or a smart tricky squiral :cheesy:

I guess the religion doesn't matter... We are all connected to the great power that started everything... Some say God... i don't know yet....
But some NDE's says that they met a spiritual being and were sure that it was Jesus...
I think i've heard of NDE's of muslims... they had almost the same experience but instead they met some important person from their religion...
It can also be that in the spiritual world.. everything is created with your mind... your communication with others and so on... so if you are christian you will see from that aspect... and if you are a muslim you would probably have it from that aspect...
But my point is.. i don't think the religious beliefs differs.. because the basic are.. we were all created by the same force...
BUT if there is a hell or not i don't know....

I would say that the only way to find out what happens after we die, is after we really die.
And for the right religion, I say the right one is a personal opinion. It doesn't have to be general so it stays subjective.
BUT if there is a hell or not i don't know....
Some people who had NDE said that they met an entity who told them that there is no heaven nor hell, and that these notions are only in people's imagination and what they learned religiously. And I believe them.
After we die no one judges us (no Judgment Day), not God nor anyone else, but us. The way we judge ourselves will be the outcome of where we will really go in the afterlife. This way heaven or hell are just obsessions of one's mind, imagination's figment. Be careful how you judge yourselves, they say, 'cause you might do it the wrong way.

Well there are also NDE's that people describes like hellish... but then they were saved from the descension to hell...
I guess the afterlife is too complex for us to understand.. i guess we'll have to witness it ourselves.. some day...
Read this one for example:

Some of these are just fabricated by their subconscious. Like I said, obsessions of the sublevel of the mind. I think. But I can't explain it the way it needs to be explained, just my subjective opinion. :cheesy:

I want to know the answers like anyone else, but no one who has passed onto the afterlife has ever come and told us about it.
My favorite afterlife story is the story of the Heaven's Gate cult. These people held that a spaceship was trailing Hail Bop, hidden by the tail of the comet*. When it passed near earth a few years ago, 39 of them took their lives in order to pass themselves onto this spaceship which would carry them into the afterlife.
* I wonder if they knew that a comets tail is actually sometimes in front of the comet, and sometimes to the side, depending on the position of the sun since the tail protrudes toward the sun.

I think there's nothing after death. And as there is nothing, we are not even aware there is nothing.... so basicly, death is that, the end..... nothing to hope beyond it.

You know i also believe there is something after life. I mean there are people that have been visited by loved ones after they died, have went to spirtual houses where they may to make contact. I do indeed believe very much.
When i born in june 27th of 1989. I born on the 8th month, a healthy baby.
With 45 days that i was alive i would throw up nothing would go through my esophagus or the chest area.During this period i was set for a first surgery on my stomach. Doctors thought I had some problems in my degestive system. Once the surgery was done they knew they were wrong. with 2 months I was going into a second surgery. Same spot same reason. Nothing was done.
After that second surgery i was diagnostic as dead. They took all the tubes and the ...(liquid which feeds you while you can't eat food)<----dont know the name for it. They took everything out that was connected to my body. My mom desperatly wanted me out of the hospital, but for that she needed 5 witnesses. She ramdomly took 5 people out of the street and ask them to sign as witnesses. My mom took me home. I'm not really sure how long was it until she heard about a woman that received spirits. Not only that but she would treat elders with their back problems and body parts that hurt.
My mom did not believe in such things like that, but she went anyway. When she got there the woman received us very well. They went into a room with me, and a spirit came to her, a boy that was in the house had to come into the room to translate what he was saying. This elder spirit was called Preto-Velho or Black-Elder. He is very familiar to the brazilian culture and to the people that believe in him. I still do not know much about him. Never did any reading on him either. Which i surely will do.
But after that i went back home, day after day my parents noticed i was getting better I could eat and drink, getting healthier and healthier.
5 years ago just before i came to the united states i visited the woman that received Preto-Velho. All i did say was Thank you for the good compliments that i was a healthy person, i just didn't know how or if it was right to say thank you for what she and preto-velho did.
But i still have one accomplishment to do, which is to find a "Cachimbo" or PIPE of Ivory. It can't be bought. It has to be given or gained.
This is my baby life I been though so much. I don't remember, but i can imagine what my parents went through.
For all these reasons is why i beleive there is a Other Side.
And Doctors aren't always the cure.
link so you know a Cachimbo is: http://jopa.no.sapo.pt/cachimbo/pipe2.htm

paranormal phenomenons like ghosts, u.f.o-s, near death experiences, self-ignitions and life after death are very intresting... i´ve read many books about those, but i´m still dceptic, i´m not beliveing life after death, ghost or heaven and hell, i don´t belive even big bang, lol... maybe there´s life after death, maybe... those experiences about near death are fake, i´ve read about them, those are just some kind of trick of your brain... i´m not doctor or sensitive, so i really don´t know are those real or not, i´m just curious :D

Well... most of them occured during a period when there was no heart or brainactivity... in other words.. flatline! And people said that they never felt so alive as in a neardeath experience... so it doesn't seem they were a dream...

Hmm i just tried a quick rv session... length.. about 7 mins... after some minutes.. i got the feeling.. or "saw" some gray concrete wall or something...
Anyway here's the picture... this session wasn't serious at all.. if i'd done this some longer time.. then maybe i'd find some more clues about the target...

i didn´t said that they were dreaming at this point... if you´ll chop humans head off then his body is still alive some time... and i´m not going to say that you´ve wrong, ofc not... anyway i´m going to library and will find some kind of information about this :P

I agree with you... i also think that we are made up by energy... and that energy is freed upon death...
And about Criss Angel.. i belive what he does is just tricks... you know you can do anything you want.. if there is a tv behind it's easy to trick people...
But i must say that he is good!
And as i have said before... maybe it's not the afterlife that is the illusion? Maybe it's the life itself...
