This year's winter in january we had in our country, like -25 or even -30 degrees Celsius during the night time, and the day time we had -15 registered. The weather forecasters told us that there are some winds coming from Siberia that makes the weather unbearable. So how is your countries weather, now? Is it siberian style like we, romanians, have this month, or is it better? :) If it's better, tell us so we can move in your country. :P

Yes, I have heard of such things in Eastern Europe. Global warming my ass.

Anyway here in Seattle it's 12 degrees celcius and the weather is calm. We did just have 28 straight days of rain though. I love it!

Vancouver of course one of the best place in the world emvironmentally.
The coldest is about -3 in the winter usually and hottest is just around 25 degrees. Heaters and fans are rarely being used. Basically u can wear the same cloth all year long, to me it's t-shirt jean jacket all year long.

Last Friday it was here -30C at noon. Even more at night. I remember well as I was supposed to go class but I skipped it because it was so damn cold out there...

That day there was -40.2C in north Finland (somewhere in Lappland)... Lucky me I wasn't there...

But winter isn't over yet... February is typically the coldest month in Finland.

So far I realised that some countries in Europe weren't affected by the siberian style, but other countries, like Baltic, Balcan Carpathian (maybe) countries did. So I guess I will move to Seattle, then

Here in Arizona it is a cool 16 degrees C and we are at 100 days since we have seen a drop of rain. In the summer it can feel like hell with it hitting the mid 40's C from June to September.

The worst part is that us romanians don't have much snow like you do. Maybe just a few patches here and there. :(

Yeh,it is better to come to China, last evening the weatherwoman told that most of China will get a sunny and warm weather in the few days coming,it is particularly exiciting, because you know we Chinese are having Spring Festival ,so do most of East Asians.

We call it Chinese New Year, but I guess it's the same thing as Spring Festival.

Vancouver has very moderate temperatures, not too hot and not too cold. The weather sucks right now though because it's been raining a lot lately. I'd say it has rained 30 of the last 35 days.

It was T-shirt weather today! I hope it all improves for you. Seattle is rightfully called one of the most beautiful cities. This is my view from the University:

Yeah, it did. Things are changed in Romania too. We have over 0 degrees Celsius here in Bucharest.

Yes, it might have, but that doesn't explain why the coldwave from Siberia has struck the entire Europe (well not the entire, but most of it).
