Although it is for Photoshoping cars, it doesnt matter the principals can be used on heaps of works. I taught myself most of what I learn, trial and error.

Try another version of Photoshop. And by the way, you should try www.lynda.com for some really cool video tutorials.

What file were you talking about that you said it was not found and warned you to install it again to fix the problem?

Didn't say, just said it was a file in its library. I reinstalled windows service pack and it seems to be working now

Oh, probably had something to do with a DLL (dynamic library link) in your computer and with some registry entries Photoshop made.

You can resize images very easy by going to the Images Menu and choose Resize or Image size (I don't remember very well, but you can easily find it).
I use Photophiltre, a Photoshop-like program, but in smaller sizes. The process it's called assemble and you make it with copy and paste special/assemble.
You can get more fonts by searching with any kind of web search engines like www.google.com (which is very useful, by the way). And then you can download some free ones from the sites discovered. :=D:

http://www.dafont.com/ is a pretty good online font resource. It's pretty easy to find what you're looking for because it's organized by font style, rather than font name. You can even preview all fonts with any custom text.

Hey there guys. I just wanna ask - where can I find some good and useful easy step by step photoshop tutorials? I believe there has been made such a tread before but I couldn't find it. The thing is that I have an assignment and I have to do it before the end of the week and I'm obligated to do it... And I believe that I'll need photshop for the job... I have no idea how to use it...

Step 2:
Ask Jeeves

Step 3:
Ask Amelie :P

Step 4:
Eat metal and sh*t the chain

Step 5:
Forget about it (or ask someone else)

1st : Haha LordBarrett !

2nd : I think there were some tutorials on the internet..Use google :D ..I know I found some a long time ago...

3rd: I believe it's better just to spend some time finding out yourself what everything does...it's better ;) I myself did it at the advice of some guys around here and the results were nice. Same with Adobe Premiere
P.S Thanks guys ! :P

You may like to look at the links in this thread. Many of the links still work and it may be of some help.

But as it has been said the best way to find out stuff is just to experiment and try things out.

1. Yep, try to find something with Google (coz Google knows EVERYTHING!!! http://shihtzuchattertwo.sunlitesplace.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/bowing.gif :P)

2. Yep, try to make something yourself, it's not so hard as it looks.

3. Look here http://www.good-tutorials.com/tutorials/photoshop :)
