okay, basicaly my favorite movie of ALL time is EuroTrip, and it was my bright and tottaly orginal idea to tell my freinds that we should go on a eurotrip after senior graduation. (btw, its their favorite movie too, but i was first :D )
so, while i'm on this wild and crazy trip, i'd like to take the chance to try and meet up with some of you europeans here :cheesy: we'll be spening at least 3 weeks backpacking around, so idk how many places we'll go.
we're going to start in england (like the movie) and work our way all around europe, next with france(paris), netherlands(amsterdam), germany, Switzerland, italy, spain, portugal, and then all the way back to germany, where we'll fly back home.
i'd like to meet paybays :cheesy: cause he's closest, and maybe scorpio. any one else?
this is going to be awsome. . . . . .

Trust me, it will be great. I did the same thing after my graduation from senior year with my brother. I spent 3.5 months over there visiting 24 countries. I had no plans to go until I saw that movie 3 months before graduation, and then my brother asked me if I wanted to go, then it was a sure thing!
I didn't know about the forum then, so I didn't meet anyone from here (though I plan to someday!) Go for it and don't let anything stand in your way. Look for Alizée, but like me, you'll probably never see her. :?

Why do you keep going on boards to make Alizée fans look bad in their eyes ? What kind of image do you think that gives of Alizée to them ? Do you have any respect at all toward her ?
And how is this related to this topic ?

Hah, it would be funny if Ekasra got banned from here too for that kind of behavior. Then no one on the internet would accept him, and he'd be all on his own. I'm not saying it's gonna happen, but it could. It'd be hilarious.
Anyway, c'mon guys, back on topic, I have the only on-topic reply so far and this is an important thread!

EuroTrip was the best movie I've ever seen in a teen comedy, hands down.

I've found that people who don't like Alizée generally will never like Alizée. Pissing them off like that is no problem.

Hmm.. I haven't seen thi EuroTrip movie but maybe I should watch it, too. :)
Even tho I'm euro myself, I have been having thoughts on travel a lot in Europe. There's many places in the western, central and southern Europe where I'd like to visit. But I will propably do many smaller trips instead of one long (altho, it's no impossible).
Some places I'd like to go see are Venice, Rome, Sardinia, many other parts in Italy, Corsica, Paris, Nice, southern France, Monaco, Egypt (not excatly in Europe but close enough), some places in Spain and Portugal, London, Scotland, Berlin, Munich, Auschwitz, Netherland, Belgium (one certain building), Switzerland... List goes on. :)
This year is supposed to be start for that my trips. Hopefully I really get where I have planned to go. :)
Also, I have had plans that I drop totally off from school for one year, go to work and just save money for several months trip around Europe and possibly for other countries too (Japan and Australia to name a few)... But I still don't know... Maybe I could do that starting from next fall...
Still offtopic...

I take Alizée seriously. If you offend her, you offend me.
Joke and plain stupidity is two different things. If the thing you mentioned was joke and never happened then Ok. No harm done. But I'm still not laughing at it (don't get the point of the joke...)

WTF?!?!?! 3.5 months?!?!?! thats hella long, lol, that is no trip, thats an excurtion.
plus thats hella money!!!
i figured to have a good time, we all need to raise about $2,500 - $3000 each so we can stay and travel europe for 3-4 weeks.
(btw, my neighbor just graduated from law school, and his next door room mate was scotty from eurotrip :cheesy: , yes, thats his real name, scott. he's getting me an autograph the next time i see him)

One of my film professors, well he usually one watches highly coveted type movies. His one exception is Eurotrip! He cannot get over it! His discussion in like every film theory class, Jim Jarmush, every class he relates something to eurotrip!
He's so funny laughing and talking about eurotrip all "hip" when's he's like a 60 year old man with an extremely sophisticated vocabulary, and two other degree's, including a doctorate in engineering.

It cost about $4500 including everything. The secret is to get a eurail pass and camp outside on the ground (next to train stations, in barns, etc.) Yeah we were very much homeless.

I have been in the US last week and I can tell...I am happy to be back in Europe close to Lili again. Even in the same time-zone!
Le Fidèle you should really go to the "Muzeumplein" in Amsterdam where the Live-in-Amsterdam video is shot!

RMJ, you sound just like me . . . hopefully you have the op to do this stuff . . . I am stuck here and have to wait 1-2 yrs (maybe sooner) to move back to Europe. I have a house in Southern Italy and I always dream of taking sailing ship to Corsica . . . I love Mozart and really want to visit Vienna and all the places you've mentioned . . . maybe in the not too distant future we can meet, along with a few other guys and go crazy as only Alizée fans can . . . but my first stop willhave to be Corsica, then France and then off to other great places by train and/or car . . . it's the best way to travel Europe . . . I have mentioned it before, but I would love to host a fan meeting at my house in Italy . . . 10 mins from the beach and . . . I don't have to say anything more . . . I am a "dreamer" and mine always come true. Let me quote myself . . . "so it is written; so it shall be done."

My friend and I are also planning a trip to Europe this summer. Kind of a spur of the moment thing. Saving money is going to be hard for me, but it will be worth it.

If you want to save money, stay at various youth hostels for travelers and students. They're crappy in general, but if you want to save money, it is probably not a bad idea. I believe there are tour books that show where the hostels are.

So, who all is taking a trip to France in 2006, between Summer and Fall?
I postponed my trip until 07' because the sole reason why I was going to go was to attend Alizée's tour. Based on the current newmers... That might not even happen.
