I have a heap of .mov that im wanting to convert to .wmv or .mpeg2. All the programs I have seen in google are only shareware and dont convert the entire clip. Im want a freeware program or at least one that does the job properly.

Any ideas??

Cheers

One question... Why ?

Any convert will make them look worse than the original...

cause .mov files suck fat ones......even .wmv files are a step up from there...

They uses version of MPEG4 codec. Codec that beats MPEG2 anyday.

And believe me... After conversion it sucks even more when the quality is compromised.

I don't like Quicktime either. For movies i use WMP and for music i use Itunes, because Itunes is nice

Then you shouldn't tell the movie format sucks if it's the player that you don't like.

I could have given link for run alone codec to play quicktime movies but how could I have known that's the problem you had...

Fortunately Snatcher gave it already. Try it out and you'll be able to play quicktime in any player.
