I'm wondering,if an old map will hold my collection?
About 3 years ago i ordered a box of Bubble Paper to protect my Sarah Michelle Gellar stuff
http://www.collingsforum.com/Pack%20your%20guitar/thumbs/18%20Make%20sure%20there%20enough%20so%20you%20hav e%20to%20push%20hard%20to%20close%20the%20box.JPG
But it maked place for Alizée stuff ( like her DVD,CD ) and then i got a problem with my ActuAlizées.Now they are still in a map then can break everytime. The cover can damage easily so it can rip an ActuAlizée is piece.
I have tried to put everything into a big Iron Box
http://www.sharpe-designs.com/images/iron%20celtic%20dragon%20box%20thumb.jpg
But it's to heavy to lift.
I was wondering what you guys do with your collection.Putting it in your room or in a chest like mine?

Well.. . My collection is here and there... Some visible, some in safe in boxes and folders, which ever works best for each one. I'd like to keep em all visible but I don't think I got space for all of them. :(
The stuff that is visible is kept in plastic bags so they won't get dust. Like these on bookself:

Umm... I dunno where you can get those. I don't even remember where I have gotten mine. I think some of them are made for CDs (for digipak cases to protect them) and I have gottem them with many CDs. But well.. Pretty much any bag will work. I use oversized bags for many CDs... Like the ACC promo CD has way too big bag but you can't notice it (even in real life) because it's neatly folded behind the CD so it won't show when on bookshelf.

^if i'm right,
i think they are called sleeves. . . used to cover comic books here.
but i'm sure you can order some online, just do a search like
"comic book sleeves"
"magazine sleeves"
"plastic magazine sleeves"
"plastic comic book sleeves"

Why to upgrade? These computers are sold for now, and room is cleaned!

I still have a N64 around here somewhere, along with a Super Nintendo, and a PS1. I see a stack of what looks like original Nintendo games, and I haven't seen one of them in probably 10 years.

Ok, lets revive an old thread, better than restarting a new one. I am still interested where people keep their external Alizée collection i.e. not on their Hard drive.
my collection does not have a home, it is just spread throughout the room. For example my growing Alizee and Les enfoires CD collection is taking over my gaming shelf, above my PC (would post pics of it but my bluetooth is not working (Data Execution prevention error which I may have solved but need to restart PC and I can't be bothered ATM). Also my front USB ports are not working so can not use digi camera to show pics (must be the wires).
But then all my other stuff is scattered around my room or shamefully resides on my computer chair at night or on my bed in the day. That collection is getting rather large and unmanagerable and one of the magazines could easily get damaged. I damaged the case of my Gourmandises album the other day and I went mental.
Ideally I guess I would get another first class stamp album, that would ideally look after the smaller pics of her that I can't stop buying. But then they won't be on display. Would also be good to put my near complete Actualizee collection in plastic sleeves to prevent damage and box them up, but then again they won't be on display. Would put them on my bookcase but that is filled up with law books and has a mini fridge on top of it, so there is no room there...... Problems, problems :?

My cds and dvds are all in a padded holder and the covers are in padded envelopes, so i dont scratch them, that way i don't have to touch the covers when i want to play anything.
