The Eurostar will help for sure. London is more a business functional city and Paris is more a conservative museum city.

Thing is, while you're in Paris, you can also take the TGV to other important cities like Lyon, Marseille, Lille or Toulouse (this one is more than 6 hours away though) pretty easily.

I suggest contacting a American Express representative about their Travel Counselor & Concierge Service programs. This is by far the best way to travel...

 Not sure where you heard that but its not true..some celebrities have it yes, but also heads of major Corporations, etc. The site I posted says you have to spend at least 5,000 a month to be invited but this figure is off a little. It's actually 20,000 US dollars or more a month for at least 3 years. And yes there is no limit.

No way! I was there a few years ago, and I loved that place! I only got to stay for two days though, then we headed to Paris

I agree. London is great. If you go, you have to go to some of the clubs. Ministry of Sound,Fabric,Emporium,Gatecrasher,Miss Moneypenny's and of course Cream. The standard is set with this club.
