Alizee new look. Latest Opinions...

Last night, I downloaded the "For me, Formidable," and video clip with Alizee singing with Jenifer. At the beginning I thought I downloaded the wrong video clip but upon closer inspection, it was Alizee with a new hair style. What the hell?!?! Did she forget she was on TV? She's still hot but the new hair is a bit of a turn off. What do you all think of the new hair? By the way this clip was taken on 2004-5-22.

I must say, I didn't like it at first either, but it has really grown on me (I think in part because she reminds me of someone I know when like this). Now I like it almost as much as the others. Also, as you point out, this video is from over a year ago, so chances are she won't look like this when she returns for her third album (nor does she sport it in the most recent paparazzi photos).

And hey, nothing is as bad as the hair on that piano player behind her in the pic you posted! :lol:

Yeah, I've seen a video or 2 with her hair like that, not really a turn-off, but it's not to say I liked it that much.. I totally agree with Broken Wings, taht hairstyle is great. (Avvy)

To be diplomatic, I will only say that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." That said, I prefer her hairstyle seen in the JEAM video or something like PayBays signature and avatar or the signature I've got. Her hairstyle in LIB is nice as well, one of the reasons it's in my avatar.

I think that hair style suits her. She's growing up and this certainly shows it.

That's one of my favourite pictures of all time. I can't believe how amazingly beautiful she looks there. The change did her really good.

talking about new looks, do you think her music videos will be a little bit better. meaning, alot of her videos, are straight forward where she sings them, and dances. what i want to see are more story lines, like moi lolita, that is a good example. (where there are people talking for a while) some music videos, stop the song completly and then the characters talk) example. alicia keys- some people want it all . i like the music videos that almost seem like short short movies.

more and more music videos are approaching this genre, Some directors such as spike lee, broke out of the music direction, into movie direction.

I think that, personally speaking, her music that is available is young, reflecting her age, views of the life she lives, things around her, and issues like that. As she matures, so too will he music. I wouldn't be surprised if her new album consisted of songs about her love for Jerm. Or world issues or events that she feels passionate about.

Its not uncommon for artists to express their emotions concerning these things through their music.

You gotta check out some of Mylène Farmer's videos, man. Especially the early ones directed by Laurent Boutonnat. They are insane little mini-movies. One (Pourvu qu'elles soient douces) is 18 min long, has a cast of hundreds, and was the most expensive French music video ever produced. And the dialogue is in English, so the plot is easy to follow! Other great clips include Tristana and Sans contrefacon.

Again, as mentioned before, she doesn't have that hairstyle anymore. It was basically just a temporary thing we only saw for 2 television appearances and a few other miscellaneous public appearances. Her hair has since grown a lot longer, if you look at the latest tabloid photos.
