Even if I liked Celine's version, I'd still go with Alizee's ... it's my 2nd fav song :wub:

Celine Dion = has been. When someone stupes to play Vegas shows on a daily basis.. their careers are just about over. I Passed her on US-I15 last winter in Utah, she drives a Crystler that is equivelant to the Dodge Magmun, Pearl white, limo tint, and her driver is an idiot. What I thought was really funny is that she doen't let her groupies drive in the same car as her. There were 3 other Caddy's following behind her.

It doesnt really matter if Celine Dion is losing her way abit, she still has a very powerful voice. Still is very talented and has a great history of songs, inc the power of love. She is still a very respected artist, no way is she classed as a "has been"

Disliking Las Vegas does not imply not appreciating your country. Vegas is only a area in Navada which is only one of the many states of America so it doesn't really matter. Besides, Las Vegas is not exactly something to be proud of. Gambling, Drugs, Hookers, and greed...

I love Vegas, but he's right that playing there is pretty much a white flag of surrender. Was never a fan of Celine Dion. Her voice is ok, but her pesonality is so damn dorky. Dorky isn't a word that seems to be as much in use as a while ago, but it's really the only word I can think of to describe her.

It was ok, I hate it because it was played a million times a day for two years straight long after everyone was tired of it, but that's not her fault. Normally I don't care for a celeb's personality as long as they get the job done, but with song performers I do, because their onstage presense is a huge part of the musical experience. And Celine's is one of the worst.

Actually, you're right.. I pretty much hate my country, especially the people in charge. Maybe I'll have a different opinion after this administration.. but maybe not.

Wasn't Carlin doing shows there for months and months? He was always complaining abotu Las Vegas and what a shit-hole it was. :shock:

I'd have to agree, I think if i was a celebrity doing vegas shows everynight, i'd go crazy. Vegas is a great place to visit, but not to live. I prefer somewhere peaceful, near the the ocean :cheesy:

Yeah, she's not very popular amoung the younger people anymore. People would look at you funny at my highschool if you went around singing Celine Dion songs.

Lol here in germany the people look even funny at you when you tell them that you are an Alizée fan. (my school)

and if you wear a t-shirt of lili at school and sing arround :) they'd think this guy is crazy :D But I don't care. there are many fans of lili here in germany.
