why is it that if not all, the majority of the users on the forums are male. i mean whats the Male to female ratio? 1,000 males to every 1 female.
well, i guess the guys are just better or more interested.

can one of the administrators tell us how many guys there are and how many girls there are? lol

Take a look at French forums like the Alizée Alliance and you'll see that it's more evenly split down the middle between guys and girls. I think it's just that non-French girls probably wouldn't be surfing the internet looking for French singers, thus wouldn't have the opportunity to become a fan. In France, girls wouldn't necessarily need the internet to know about Alizée since they would probably see her on TV, hear her on the radio, see her in magazines, etc...

Guys surf the web for "hot" girls. They find Alizée. They download a video, and therefore hear her music. You know what happens from there. Girls aren't gonna do that in America.. because they're not gonna surf the web for "hot" girls, and Alizée is hardly even sold in America, let alone promoted.

I don't think Spears public image presents itself as wholesome a role model as, say, Alizee's public image does. As a result, I'm not entirely sure she attracts as many females as opposed to males to the fansites. I can easily see French girls admiring Alizee for her taste in clothes, how she behaves in public, etc.

Yes, both Spears and Alizee exude sex, but for Spears, it seems more explicit, and I dare say more "raunchy." Alizee hasn't gone that route, and I think it shows with her fanbase in France. She has more broadbased appeal. I just don't see Spears as appealing to women as Alizee can be.

alright, i find it funny, that when i listen to jen ai marre it makes me happy (cuase i dont know what shes saying), even though shes singing about being fed up. lol. its such an upbeat song to sing about how fed up you are. also, i find it funny when alizee smiles while she sings this song during some of her performances (which isnt a bad thing, i love to see her smile).
