Alizee's former Friends

I was wondering what happens to Alizee's high school buddies and especially the ones that put her in that contest that brought Alizee to fame...

Does Alizee still talk to them....give them gifts and stuff?

Or are they like just living on their own and with no real contact due to how popular Alizee has become.............

Well, i guess some of her friends betrayed her.. As she did say " I found out who my friends were" when the fame set in. I don't know if she still talks to them or not, she is mostly in Paris ect, with her album, before that.. touring and concerts. So, all her friends would be in Corsica. I guess, when she does visit Corsica, she calls them up id imagine. No-one really knows for sure, so i can only tell things as i have read them.

well, when someone becomes famous, sometimes the friends you thought were nice, stab you in the back so to speak. that is the impression i got, when i read one of her first interviews. I still think it is on her official site. It comes with the price of fame, sometimes people dislike you, if you are famous and start getting all the attention. Your freinds start and sell stories about you, to make some cash, at the expensive of your fame. Although, i'm not saying her freinds did this, just that some of them, were not her friends afterall.

The attitude of those who were closest to me hasnít changed in the least. Iím lucky in that sense. I still share a lot of things with them. But yes, I have noticed a few changes in people that are not quite as close to me. Let's just say the choice was easy to make.

Man doesnt it suck for some of her closest friends who tried out for the contest but were elimanated but Alizee made it and tours around the world and will never run into financial troubles......... :roll:

Well, i keep in contact with lots of mine. It was so strange because, i knew everyone in my school, i liked everyone, and i mean everyone. We all were so close.. But i still keep in contact with about 20 of them, all from around my area. We had a meeting last year, when you go back to school and meet the teachers and see what everyuone is doing, it was great. Nothing better to pull up, in a black convertable porsche boxster and have a chat with the teacher, that said i would never make anything of myself. :lol: I hated my teachers back then, but now.. It felt strange calling them by there first names.

Afterall, id hate losing contact with some of the best friends ill ever meet. We had such a good time at school through the years, we all feel like brothers. lol

The sad thing is, in time friends will distant from eachother.. One of my closest friends left to go down south, that was a sad day indeed. :cry:

As many of us have witnessed from Her sayings, Her interviews and Her actions etc, She is a very down to earth person. I really doubt She would somehow stop communicating with Her friends.
She still visits Corsica quite often, and from the "reports" one can gather that Her friends were there to help Her out in april. I'm sure She is very close to many of them.

As for those who betrayed Her trust - people can be jelaous. The ones who 'betrayed' Alizée's trust most likely were ordinary classmates. However this is just speculation.

But I guess that's not surprising. In interviews Lili has said how she keeps herself grounded with mates from back home, but celebrity is sure to change things... you lose some friends and gain others (like Jenifer, for example).

Same here I keep in touch with most of my friends from secondary school many live here or in villages close by so we go out now and again. Yeah reunions are great teachers used to say the same about me eg 'you don't try hard enough'. I've seen a few teachers since then and they're suprised to hear I'm at uni lol! Nah don't laugh I know what you mean when you say some friends feel like brothers. you know someone for so long they become like family. I have friends I've known since first school so I know what you mean. Don't be sad you may meet again one day life is like that you can be doing something mundane like shopping and spot someone you know.

Yeah I think so Ayan I can't imagine why they would turn against someone as kind as Alizee. Most likely they are people who suddenly became 'friends' with her who didn't know or care about her in high school hangers on or money grabbers. My guess is they didn't get what they wanted and got fiesty about it.

Well not exactly... Graines de star (the show she was on... there are a few clips from it (http://gasko.webzdarma.cz/index.php?page=browse&sec=1&gid=4&eid=76) in the hub) is closer to Star Search than to American Idol. It's more just a kid's talent show rather than a serious competition, and neither the winners not the losers generally go on to be famous immediately afterwards. Alizée was just able to use the tape of her appearances on that show (the second of which she didn't even "win") as audition material when Mylène Farmer began casting for someone to sing Moi Lolita.

Lili's friend Jenifer -- who got her start by winning the American-Idol-meets-Big-Brother-esque Star Academy -- would be a better parallel to someone like Clarkson.
