True. Mylene is more experienced in music than Alizée. I don't think we can say if Alizée will surpass MF since both have their share of fans. We might say that Lili will win the race but MF's fans will think different.

But, ofc, in my opinion, Alizée is bettert.

But i agree,people finding Alizée the best and people finding Mylene the best.Without Mylene there was no Alizée,but there could be Marjolein as the new Alizée.BUT...

and there is the but...without Alizée her dancing spirit and her singing,there was no teacher Mylene Farmer.And without Laurant there were no Alizée and Mylene Farmer producing her songs

Right, if you're comparing careers and achievements, Mylène wins out pretty handily domestically, while Alizée has the international success, however Mylène's longevity would put her well over at this point. Other than that you can compare which voice you like better, etc etc and that comes down to preference. We'll have to wait out a some more albums before we can really start comparing careers.

From what I've seen, Mylène actually didn't look as pretty when she was young in my opinion. She's gotten better with age.

Agreed... to a point. She's about 35 in that pic above, for example, and that was her peak imo. (Physically, at least... musically, I still believe that nothing beats 1988's Ainsi soit je album).

Also, just thought I'd point out: while it's true that Alizée's career (or that of any other French artist, for that matter) can't compare to Mylène's, not even MF has had a single as successful worldwide as Moi Lolita. It's the highpoint of both their careers! :)

Career-wise, you are better off comparing MF to, for instance, Madonna.
