Been sampling some of her music, and so far I'm really lovin' it. Some of it is really angsty and powerful, some of it is really light and sweet sounding. She's got a really good voice. Here's a sample, my favorite song of her's so far.

I pretty much agree with you on everything there.. only I don't like it that much. (I'm a metalhead, it's a mystery even to my why I like Alizée..) And a warning: it is pretty angsty..
EDIT: Where could I get more of her music, it just occured to me that it might just be that song that I dislike. I use BearShare for downloads.. nothing there, and so far I'm not seeing any on DC++.

I've been limewiring, found some, but it's still tough. Planning on a CD purchase as soon as I get some financial breathing room. I'm a sucker for the sad love gone wrong songs, but not all of them are like that from what I've heard so far.

I don't think it really matters anymore, I put it on repeat a few times and it grew on me...

I just checked limewire.... there's a LOT on her.

Yeah, I've been getting quite a number of bad quality files in the mix though, so I've often had to redownload the same songs over. Cool that it's growing on you though. French music has a way of doing that. Je voudrais que tu me consoles is pretty damn cool too. I bit more rock than this last one.

she has a nice voice.........I would have preffered the production to be simpler with just the piano, strings, acoustic guitar, and her......cause the drums and distorted guitar compete with her voice too much......still very nice though ......thx...

Je voudrais que tu me consoles is pretty damn cool too.
I heard that song and came on the forum just to say it. But you beat me to it. :D
Prends Soin De Moi is also quite good.

Had that one queuing since last night, but no luck finishing it het. But if you're looking for one that's just piano and strings, SMR, check out Ma Vie Et La Tienne.
