As I said few month ago (as I can remember), I'm a technoist, which means that I listen to every kind of electronica music, from break beat to downbeat, from drum and bass to house. But I'm interested in one particular kind of electronica, that is Goa Trance. A special kind of trance music that has it's parties all over the world. So, anyone who is a fan of Goa feel free to post here what you think about this genre of trance music.
For anybody who wants some information about this one please visit this site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goa_trance_music

I'm addicted to that stuff too.

If you're a "Technoist" you're awareness is doing a journey, which is reflected by the genre of electronic music you listen to. If you have arrived the highest state (which could be arrived as human beeing) then you find yourself listening to Goa and Goa trance music. Or even such unknown sources of mental power like FSOL.

I like FSOL, as I'm listening to them right now. Electronica music to me is such a complex genre, and relaxing too. Come to think of it I have friends that told me that I'm nuts listening to that insane music, but they don't really know that is probably the most wonderfull kind of music in the world.
As to Goa, it's simply extraordinary, when they combine special sounds like indian ones with electronic made sounds. Just think of it, to learn how to use a peak controller, a gateway effect and an arpeggiator combined with indian music, and not too mention a high BPM like 160 or something close to that, it's simply marvelous. :D

You can use any kind of drums in trance music, not just steel drums, but it's electronical ones most of the time, although there are exceptions.

I like such music too. But i can't say that i'm a really fan of goa trance. My dad is fan of such music. Here is a lot of disks in my home, so if wanted to copy it to HDD, it would be impossible.
