well, i was on a vacation in italy last week, and brought a bunch of Alizée-pics on my cellphone. two of them caught my attention, but it might've just been the display on my phone fooling me..

Yes you are right indeed. If you look at the left picture of my old signature you will see the same results

First i was going to type no. But, when i stare at the isla bonita pic, for a good while, i think you may be on to something. It could just be the way it has been captured. it does look as it is looking a little up and to the side. But, like i said, very hard to tell eitherway. Damn i have to say tho, her hair is gorgeous in isla bonita as always.

Even if it is off, God it makes her even sweeter so some reason.

I don't think anyone has perfect vision anyway, i think everyone/most people have one eye that is slightly off.

Alizée is a Human... so she can't be absolutely perfect

I've seen it already, but i thought it isn't important...
She's beautiful and this little "abnormality" isn't very remarkable
in spite of the "abnormality" are her eyes very magical and "to start dreaming" deep

***Notice this***
If you try to make smaller pic of anyone, with your computer. The eyes starts almost everytime to look little cross-eyed.
***Notice end***

I'm not saying it wouldn't be true that Alizée has a little bit cross-eyed look. But it dosen't even matter. But i hope you did understood my note. I have noticed that multiple times when i have trying to make pictures of someone smaller and smaller with paint or some other program.

DavidAlizée
7th July 2005, 17:22
ah, that is a good point, maybe how it looked cross eyed on his phone screen. I think you are right, because i just took a quick look at a high quality photo, and zoomed in, her eyes are perfect. So, yeah.. when one makes a pic smaller, this could happen. Good point.

See that pic of Alizée in right side of my signature. There you can see that cross-eyed look again, OK?
But, now look this.

Alizee has the eyes of an angel, it wouldn't matter if one was facing the sky and the other the ocean, just one look into them and you are hopelessly trapped by her beauty forever......

if she's cross-eyed or not doesn't change anything.. i just pointed out that on those pics, she does look slightly cross-eyed.. might be the pics that's been made smaller, or the picsp are strange, or she is cross-eyed.. i was just wondering about which of the options it was =)

This might be why she looks crosseyed. Your eyes can move individually of each other, and you can look crosseyed if what you're looking at (the camera, in this case) isn't directly in front of you.
http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/3517/focus6pz.jpg
If the round thing is a head and the two black dots are eyes (if your imagination can stretch that far) you can kind of see why she might look crosseyed. If it is more in line with one eye than another, the other eye has to turn more to focus on the object.

Please excuse the picture; I did it in paint.

It's all just an optical illusion as far as I can see. I rotated her face 5 degrees as it shows in the picture and then cropped her eyes, flipped one horizontally, and made them opaque. As you can see, they line up almost perfectly.

You guys are reading too much into this, imho.

When you shrink down a picture that's, for instance, 500x500 pixels and try to show it on a cellphone screen, there's going to be some amount of distortion and loss of quality no matter how good the screen is.

I really don't think that the camera is very close to her, and in my opinion neither do you, as you can see in the video.

Hey don't sell yourself short, that's a pretty nice diagram, and I think you're pretty much right. I'm willing to bet this happens to just about everyone, but Alizée's the only face we really look at under a triple microscope. Since it's so damn cute and all.

And anyway, my signature picture is a pretty good indication. It's a pretty much straight on look, and they don't seem crosseyed to me.

You're right. I actually tested this out in the mirror this morning. If your face is even slightest bit angled, one of your eyes will appear to be off. Your face has to be completely straight on with the mirror for your eyes to looks symmetrical. Unless you truly are cross-eyed.
