What's your opinion about Alizée?

We might have this already,but i still believe Alizée comes to this board to look.I think it would be cool to make this,because she doesn't have time to run through al the post.To let her know what she means to us,i think this topic would be brilliant.Besides...who doesn't want to visit a board that talks only about you...

If we have this already,why don't you post again.Your opinion about Alizée could change...so post away.

Well...i'll start.For me Alizée is an inspiration.When i'm sad or lonely i listen to her song.It really makes me feel good.Sometimes i even cry,because i had serveral chances to see her,but they all failed.Sometimes those songs give me hope to do anything.I always listen to her before i have something important.I have to do my drivers license-exam in about 3 weeks.I don't hate driving,but it makes me really pissed,so i always listen before i go driving.She's a beautyfull girl ( offcourse... ) and she gives me a lot of hope.I think she's the best...

IF i receive a letter,i would throw all my stuff away and only Alizée posters all over my room.But i'm moving soon ( i go on rooms ),so i hope i can hang some posters there.I'm proud that she became a mom,but i'm sad NO-ONE has told me she was married.The tv/radio stations here doesn't have any Alizée song.So i have to wait till her concert

My thoughts on Alizee:

It's unfortunate the US is stuck with people like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera instead of people like Alizee. Alizee is sexy. I don't think any straight man can deny it, but she doesn't make a terrible show of it like Spears or Aguilera. There are ways of doing things without appearing raunchy or lewd or just plain trashy.

Her way has great class; I like it; it's one of her strong points.

In the US, we have our own world of music with different genres and such, but sometimes it's nice to look elsewhere for new sounds and experiences, and Alizee, at least for me, provided that unique new experience.

Wanna bet? Once, one of my friends said she looked like crap ... then I kicked the shit out of him, but that's another story. There are those that like sexy in the vulgar sense like Christina Aguilera and (lateley) Britney Spears. Even back then, when I was 10 and she just appeared on the screen, I pictured her as an angel. I sometimes drew her and made her angel wings and halo. She was the most beautiful creature I saw. 5 years have passed and my opinion is still the same: Alizee is the most beautiful angel on earth and in the skies. Heh well seriously, she really is amazing. First, as I've mentioned before, the growth of my fandom was a long process. One big step was listening to her albums for the first time. I love her music. But as much as I'm a fan of the work of Farmer & Boutonnat (and I am a huge one), Alizée herself is still something more. It's not just her beauty, though she has that in droves. Emmerdale, you mentioned how different she is from other pop singers: a distinction between class and trash. Of course I and most people here agree with that, though I'm sure those other stars have fans who would defend their idols against such a label. In the end, I think the key word is different. Another milestone for me was watching Stars A Domicile 2003. I think you can see very clearly in that video what others in this thread have been talking about. Imagine anyone else in that situation and it just wouldn't be the same at all. Alizée is so much herself, so very different, and all the more beautiful for it. One cannot be thankful enough for that.

Yes, but the J'en ai marre outfit didnt show much of her body, or did it? It didn't show much naked things of her. For me the JEAM outfit looks soooo cute ! When I see it I don't think "Oh my god what a sexy outfit damn, im going crazy now" she looks very cute in that one. And Alizée also said at some questions

Why is there a discussion about how much of her body she shows? That has nothing to do with her sexiness. When i started to listen her music, it was just becouse I had seen pictures of her, and i noticed that she is very, very, sexy.
But later I've been listening her music, of other reasons too. I noticed that her songs is really, really good! 8) Someones said that her music makes feel better if you have bad day, and that's true as any.

My thoughts on Alizee

Being more wise in my age then is good for me, I have a strong opinion on the daily trash that I come across these days.

When I first seen Alizee, I was curious as to who she was. wait... let me back up first let me tell you how I came across her.

I play a game online called world of warcraft. There is a type of player you can play called a Night-elf. With emotes which is short for "Emtions" a player can dance. Someone posted a video of Alizee in concert dancing like the night-elf in the game. My first thought was that this girl plays wow (world of warcraft) then I started to look her up. Her song was catchy and I actually like the tune. I didn't understand french at the time so I couldn't get a better idea of the song. Later I realized that the company probably got their inspiration for the night-elf dance from Alizee instead of the other way around.

How do I feel about Alizee now?

To me, she is the prime example of what a girl should be. As most of you mentioned above, she is not sleezy. She has a good look about herself and is cultured. When seeing some of these .gif on this board... she presents herself as bashful, yet appreciative. I see innocence in her. I see passion in her moves. I watch and can hear emotion come from her voice. Granted most of her songs don't even relate to me, but somehow I am drawn into the sea of tunes and notes that wash over my senses.

Sitting here and thinking about the question, I would amost be at a loss of words. The only reason why I can express it, is because I am good at such things. I like to put myself in the shoes of others. Not because their fortunes, but because of their misfortunes. I find that when I do these things, I can better understand them. Even though I cannot physically go through what they might have. When Alizee sings.. its not about these things. It different. More refreshing. So why am I soo interested in her music if it doesn't express her deep feelings? Well THAT is the answer... it doesn't express those things... Which leads me to consider her more mysterious ways.

If she ever came back to Las Vegas, I would want to talk with her... not in the manner as a fan, but rather as someone that wanted to get to know her more, that would present the right picture of her to her fans. I really don't think that she would need me for that. But I would love to be in that position. Alizee clearly posses morals and disciplines. I find myself being too curious as to what they are. Does any of this make sense?

Anyhow. If someone ever asked me about who I would want my daughter to see as a mentor.. it would be Alizee... and I don't even have a daughter.
