I couldnt say what type of movie Id like to see her in really. Romantic comedy? Not for me, but I couldnt see Alizée hunting vampires (Blade anyone?), or making really large explosions ( :D ). Which goes to show my taste in movies. :P

SO many unknowns, and the odds are against it ever happening, if only because of the the infrequent release of Bond movies, her schedule and current and future interest and the fact there would probably be thousands of girls competing for the part.

From what we know, it's the former (song written because of her dream of being a Bond girl). But she was 16 at the time. Bond girls have always been sex symbols, but the strong and glamorous type many girls dream of. So that's understandable. But who knows now. I doubt she'll be one anytime soon. If she were to do movies, I think she'd start with a French production kind of like her husband is doing now.

Then I think you have an overly simplistic view of the women who accompany James Bond during his adverntures. They may be sexy and frequently James does get them in bed, but they are rarely "stupid" quite often quite capable of staying alive and completing a mission in their own right. Sometimes they're on the good side, sometimes the bad side, but contrary to popular belief around here anyway, they're not brainless bimbos only on the screen to be a bit of eye candy.

Remember in the "Moi Lolita" video, she was only 15 or 16 at the time and she actually did very well all things considered. I'm sure with her Charisma and Looks, she could "walk through" a movie quite well as long as she remembered her lines.

In fact, I bet she'd be great. Think about this, she had to sing "La Isla Bonita" in English, a language which she doesn't much like or speak very well, and she pulled that off perfectly. In fact, the first time I saw it, I'd have never imagined that she didn't speak English or was even French for that matter. She looked very Spanish in it. I watch that video all the time now and here I am a new member of this forum talking about her. She is amazing..... :D

La Isla isn't the only thing she's done in English... there are the four English versions of MCE songs, and she was even able to sing some of I'm not twenty live in concert (not on the DVD, unfortunately). She's taken lessons and probably has a passable level of fluency in the language. With a little practice, I'm sure she'd have no trouble in a movie. :)

Well, Audrey Tautou didn't know much if any English when she did Dirty Pretty Things, and she was coached to speak it with a Turkish accent. Of course, Audrey Tautou IS an actress, but I'm not sure what difference that would make. I can guess though. I've sang in English, Gaelic, French, Spanish, Italian, Latin, German, Russian, Hebrew, Greek and I think Japanese once, but I only know ONE of those languages well enough to feel comfortable enough to do a movie in.

Yeah, no way to know with 100% certainty... but like I said, I'm pretty sure she has passable knowledge of it from what she's done in English, and just the fact that most French celebrities (like 95%) and people who live in Paris (like 85%) do. Maybe not ready to be in a film now, but I don't think the necessary practice would be too difficult for her.

That was the "one" that was a musical. It's ok... I like the original show alot, but the movie adaptation is kinda mixed (good in some ways, bad in others). My favorite version out of the batch I just saw was this one from 1989, staring Robert "Freddy Kruger" Englund:

News today. Another actress turns down Bond Girl roll. I still don't think this is a possibility for her. But with a new album out. Maybe next year. ?? Would be a good move by her manager to land this roll. If her english is fair and we know she has the looks she could screen test. Her size might be her only minus. I'd like to see Alizée do some film work in late 2006, to be released in 2007. I have a few ideas for some films for her. I think she'd be great at it. It is in essence just another form of performing. :)

This sounds negative to people? I think it's time to expand creativity to films. I have reason to believe the third album will be a success, which will launch a co-existent film/music career. I would like to see one film in the can by mid or late 2007. It will be tough to juggle family, music and film, but it's doable.

Actually, I think you are right. DAD was horrible, and TWINE was probably the second worst of the new ones.

What were they thinking in DAD? It was soooo long. A bond film should be 90 minuets, or maybe 60. Screw it, they just shouldn't make Bond films, it seems like a better idea to do this as a TV show.
