Have you ever had a homo friend who was not your typical gay-effiminate persona? Like you wouldn't be able to tell that he was really gay due to his seemingly stable masculinity and taste, unless he told you; whereas, you have the effiminate types as well. Which types would you prefer & which are the ones that annoy you & why?

Of course you can detect anything with your gaydar, but what I meant to ask was... would you rather (by preference but unbiased) have a gay friend who was masculine, or the feminine types? A friend is a friend, I know but what's your preference?

I don't think being gay has everything to do with ur point......I mean there are straight guys out there that are effeminate to an extent.......and it's no big deal imo....

There was a guy a few weeks ago I was telling he'd "make a great gay guy" because he just could act as one so well, but the he got engaged so we all know for sure now. He's very cool guy, and he left bottle full of wine at my house this morning, so it's party time for this minor.

Hm.. I don't really know. I've had both. The one "effiminate" gay friend that I had was probably more fun than the others, but I think that's more because that was his personality than because he was effiminate. I don't think I really have a preference.. it depends more on the individual rather than whether he is effiminate or masculine. (But then again, perhaps I would be able to relate better to an effiminate gay man.. ^^;)

i have 2 gay friends.. they arnt really close mates but i c em every now and then.. and they are way over the top completely 'fablously' gay.. i dont think ive seen a gay person that acts masculine lol..

and those ppl with perfect gaydar's lol go into sydney city.. pretty much every second man is a flagrant homosexual :P
