I hate this. I'll be moving out of my folks' pad soon & as much as excited as I am to be on my own... the premature nostalgia is getting the best of me. Did you ever feel this way when you moved out of the home you grew up in & began your own adventure?

Yea I am. We (wife) stay at a dorm but it's generally at home we spend our time. We're neighbors before all the romance & well, my folks' place carried a whole lot of memos, & we're about to live separately, & that makes me nervous. I dunno why.

I experienced that this summer. I moved out and cried as if i never cried before. I missed my parents house and my parents SO MUCH.

Its silly cuz when i was younger I was sure i would love it on my own.

I still see them as much as i can.

For college, or to be totally on your own?

I know... it's too sad. It's so bogus 'coz you tend to appreciate when it's slipping away.

No melancholic feeling for me. I went to Europe all summer, then came home and moved and hour and a half and a $5 ferry ride from my parents. Since I was so far away for so long it now feels as if I'm right next to them.
