who has been a fan since 2000?

I want to know which members have known her and or been a fan since 2000. I certaintly have not, but if you have, list it here and tell how long you have been a fan. I want to see who is an "oldy." Please don't post if you just became a fan when this forum was created in 2003 or whenever, I want to know who was already a fan, from 2000 2001 or 2002!

I am since the beginning a fan (2000), was before now under the name "AlizeeFan" on the way, and on ship in two of the old boards since 2001/2002! ( the swiss board from Starkard and other german boards )
Then I was soon one year inactive, and now am I finally again back!!

i doubt there'll be many new fans from uk/usa in the near future, you never hear about her anymore in these countries, so the majority of fans will have supported her from the start.

Yeah, me! Since I saw her for the first time on TMF. I was totally impressed, and my birthday wasn't far away then. I recorded her song from the radio on cassette, and I bought her CD from the money I got on my birthday. I think I played it for like 2000 times at least

This is one of those things I wanted to stear clear of in this thread, using it to see which fan can "top" the next. I haven't even known of her until a couple months ago. It doesn't matter when you discovered her, I just wanted to know who has known about her for a really long time, instead of all the people i know who are newer fans like me.

I disagree. ALizée never had and will never have that many fans in u.s. However, if my intuition serves me right, I believe she has made alot more fans in the u.s. lately than back when she first came out. I think pretty much no one over here knew about her during gourmandises, however now that there is a healthy collection of vids and forums (avatars of the jeam performance on various forums help :P ) and more people from America seem to be discovering her.

I'm not sure about the u.k., ask dave, but I think she was pretty much someone they only briefly heard from top of the pops a few times but she doesn't see a whole lot of recognition there either. My guess is there are people there who also have not heard of it and can still discover her. The only difference being that in america she was never recognized at all.

I became a fan of Alizée in 2000. "Moi Lolita" was played all day on most radio/TV stations and clubs in Greece, I liked it very much (and I still like it and i listen it every day 8) ) and I tried to learn more about her. :D

i've been a fan since 2000 however, i have my ups and downs as a true fan; but whenever I see her face it's like magic that happens to me and i am crushed again, so as soon as i get a girlfriend I am always asked to remove my posters and wallpapers of her but as soon as i am witout one life becomes a elusive dream again. That feeling is just wonderful, so i probably always will be a fan however not as much as i ever was, as some of u will know.

I don't think news of her had migrated to the US for a while, I heard about her in late 2002, and didn't really become a fan until early 2003 I guess.
