Might be good for me to introduce me again, since it's been a month since I last visited the forum, and I feel like a newbie now!

well, the name's Jan-Mikael, but I have been called Janne for as long as I can remember. I'm 20 (soon 21) years old, and currently livin' in Finland, in a small village about 45km east of Helsinki. I just finished my civil-service duty, and now I'm tryin' to get into a school, where I'll be studying economy. My dream atm is to finish the school, and then hopefully move to the states and find a good job there, preferably in NYC.

My hobbies are music, TV and Floorball.

When it comes to music, I used to be a huge fan of metal, all from Nightwish to Dark Tranquility, but recently I have been a lot into pop/rock, like Good Charlotte, Jackson Browne, Bowling for Soup etc...and Alizée ofc, although I don't listen to her songs quite as frequently as I used to do in the past....nowadays I might put on a couple of her songs per day, just to relax.

When it comes to TV, there is two series that comes before all others for me....those are "Friends" (God I hope they will make some special episodes in the future), and Charmed. I am a total Friends freak. I own all the 10 DVD season boxes, and it doesn't go a day by, without me looking at at least 4 episodes...I'm a friends-a-holic, and a proud one.

So, it might not comes a surprise to ya then, that my all time favourite actors/actresses can be found from that series.....to be more specific, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston and Alyssa Milano!

dunno what else to say, seems like I have said all that is needed to be said about me, for the time being at least :)

As for getting relegated, its probabily a good thing (prepares to be shot by Leeds supporters). Things were nutts for Leeds, nearly broke, high wage players whom they need to keep to stay up, constant pressure to perform without morale etc...............rather than linger in the bottom of the league, it is better for them to perform in the slightly less harsh 1st division for a season or two. Let them regain confidence without the constant media pressure upon them, without the constant drubbing by the Chelseas and Arsenals of the Premiership etc. Basically, let them get a footing, and rebuild themselves once more..........instead of just sitting as a target for a thumping every game!

Good point. Leeds was the only smaller and more obscure city in England that I had heard of so naturally I wanted to go there. I didn't get the jersey there but I liked the look of it a lot and now it passes for a collared shirt when I have to wear one and not look sloppy in a T-shirt. I also wear AS Roma, PSV Eindhoven and Deustcher Fussball Bund (National Team).

lol, i go to Leeds alot, very strange place i have to say. It's a very dirty place indeed. Some of the people i work with live in Leeds and come to NCLE everyday. They don't like living in Leeds at all. Love the footy team, but are ashamed of them. I miss the G. Graham days..

My name is Karsten and I am not very creative when it comes to picking a nickname.
I first hear about Alizee when I saw, a link to moi-alizee.com (a few years ago, I think). I heard moi lolita, and just had to hear more. So i bought the Gourmandises album, and later on Mes Courants Electriques. Of course I also had to buy the Live 2004 album/dvd.
To day I often visit this forum, but rarely posts.
I come from Denmark, and own "alizee.dk". But haven't made a website there yet. But I will then I got some time (The most of my time is used on work, all my other websites and starting up a Floorball club (inne-bandy)).
Beside Alizee I like listening to Ace Of Base, HIM, CKY and a lot of other great bands.

Hello all,
Jonathan here from the great town of Ann Arbor.
I originally was introduced to Alizée simply by finding someone's desktop wallpaper, which was just in a group of landscapes. I was intrigued by the pretty face to be sure, but I didn't give it much thought. One day I decided to find out just who this person was and I found her website. I have to admit I was still taken by her beauty, but the first video I watched was the English version of I'm not 20, and I found that a wee boring first time around.
So once again, time passed. Then I came upon this wallpaper again. Once again the pretty face captivated me. Once again, I found the site, but this time I watced I'm Fed Up and the the French versions of those two songs. Her songs have a way of growing on me and making me want to hear them more, the more I hear them. The ultra cute face she makes about two thirds of the way through J'en Ai Marre went straight to my heart. Just my dumb luck to really start enjoying Alizée while she's on this huge break and having a baby and all that. Eh bien, hopefully she will be back to performance and recording before too long.
I noticed someone earlier mentioning they being the elder member. *sigh* I think I must be right up there near the top.

BUT,, the bloke who is truely responsible for my alizee addiction is ouiuken, he's just joined too (after i told him to, he posted breifly in my global 21st plans in opions of alizee) but is keen to get more involved. He's a top top bloke too! (obviously, he introduced me to our lili!)

He's gonna be one of the guys I'm in Europe with next year, aroudn July/August. I first stumbled upon Alizée about 3-4 weeks ago. The exact date fails me, much to my dismay :cry: . I was browsing through the World of Warcraft forums when I stumbled upon this video. http://www.transbuddha.com/mediaHolder.php?id=30. Nothing but a pretty face to me at the time. I slowly found myself fumbling for that video again and again before I finally decided to Google and see what I could find. Ended up at the offical site getting entranced by her vids and songs for about a week before finding my way here finally.

So, as you can tell Im quite the new fan. :D And now Im seriously contemplating taking up French next year in school so I can understand the lyrics and uh, maybe sing along without stumbling so blindly :lol: . Someday of course, I hope to end up at one of her concerts. Still trying to find where I can get a hold of her CD's though. :cry:

Whats happenin. Just wanted to share with yall on what I think of Alizee. First off, I would of never thought I would have a favorite girl singer, but when I found out about Alizee, everything changed. I am a rocker, and I never did like pop, but once again, it changed when I found out about her. I was shocked when I heard her music. Her music has great rythms, and thats what I was hooked on to, and she has quite a voice. I guess it is different because here in the states, pop, I think sucks, and Alizee makes britney spears, aguilara, look like crap. None have ever aroused my intrest like Alizee, she is perfect.Moi Lolita, Gourmandises, and Amelie m'a dit have great rythm and vocals, and I loved it, her other songs are cool too. And for the past few days, I have found myself constantly listining to Alizee!, and she makes me wanna learn French. So yea, I can really consider myself a fan of Alizee, she is the first girl singer I have liked. And I think, she is the most beautiful girl out there, my opinion of course. I look forward to her future!

errr... Most lyrics contain symbolic references, and also in your case they lead to sexual stuff... like in the case of Gourmandises, losing her virginity.

Anyways I kinda dislike Alizee for not admitting that the lyrics have in fact deeper (more dirty) meanings... in most interviews she denies it, or doesn't understand where the host is talking about. Which I find very strange.
