Not usually into these kinda things, but I have no idea how I came apon Alizee until last week and all I been doing since then is listening to her music and watching the Vids on youTube. Im Australian and wouldnt have a clue what she sings but I really like it. I know she has had her music out for a while but hey, nothing wrong with inheriting a new fan :) I noticed I could be in time to see another Album coming out. Sweet :)

Many Aussies? no not really only a handful. You can purchase her albums on amazon.fr since they arent availiable in stores anymore around australia.

thats EXACTLY how i was when i found out about her (july 06 tbe). but instead i was watching her videos on moi-alizee.us instead of youtube.
its a much better website for Alizee videos because its much organized.

and by the way, welcome to you and jomenvisst. dont worry she'll mostly likely be back this year (hoping before summer), but watching her older videos and listening to her older songs should be enough to keep you company until her comeback.

I've been around for some time allready, but just didn't made it to introduce myself till now. :oops:
Well, I knew Alizée since when I was about 14 years old and i really liked her from the start. But i wasn't too big into her until about one month ago, when i saw her on YouTube.:shock:
Then it all came back, and i listened to her 1st album again, then i got her second and live album. So, for the last two weeks it's just Alizée and her music. And now I'm here to stay (hopefully). :P

being probably one of the oldest members in this forum....Ive been into all kinds of music but believe or not I really am not such an expert on pop music like most of you hear are Ive always been a follower of opera and classical vocal music from the renasance... I know I sound like a stuffshirt but be that as it may of course ive heard of all the pop divas of today and yesterday but they didnt really have what I call good vocal techniques in other words they sang technically incorrect especially madonna who really sounds really flat and off pitch with no legato line which is to say singing in time or rhythym ......now cutting to the quik last week I was linked to a google video of alizee singing J`ai pas vingt ans! naturally being a man I said damn that girl is as cute as Ive ever seen ....She intrigued me I admit because of her looks but after seeing her video concert I knew for certain that this goddess is something profoundly special her singing in a classical sense is technically flawless !!!her range of singing styles is limitless Im sure she could sing anystyle better than anyone else ...as someone said on another forum why dont all the pop singers give alizee there songs to sing because shell definitley make the best version of anyone elses work.....were fortunate to have her around for the likes of her come around maybe once every thousand years or so........I guess what Im trying to say alizee should sing covers of others work so we can get the correct interpatation........also It would keep her in the limelight more I just wanna hear her sing !!!how does she rate with classical singers ...technically shes flawless but her personality and style leaves everyone in the dust ...............I hope to see her in concert live someday no matter what it cost ....money well spent

hi, I'm from sweden, the first time I heard Alizée was a couple of years ago (around 2000) her song "moi..lolita" was played alot on the radio
back then, I remember I liked the song alot, but I didn't really care about music back then so I paid no actual attention to her or any other music on the radio... but some months ago I watched her live performance of JEM and fell in love at once, I searched for more songs and I found moi..lolita, I recognized it at once and it made me think of the old days back in 2000 :cheesy:

Usually I only listen to rap and reggae, but Alizée's songs are fantastic... nothing like the crap-music of britney spears, christina aguilera etc :twisted:

It's nothing special but I'll look for it as soon as I know where is it. The only think you can see is several names of musics with Moi Lolita included...

In case the admins can't be able to help and you still need a good free host, I recommend these:

Both supports addon domain and PHP/MySQL. The first one is in Czech. The second one has a support forum in English, check it in case you need specific DNS IP addresses for your domain. And remember to read their policies before registering. The last time I visited them was years ago, something must have changed.

If you still need someone to work with the design in P/S, you could ask Eril or almost anyone here on AF, they are very good at P/S (but not all of them has an admin account :wink: ).

Like many others I'm sure, I first discovered Alizee from one of the many animated GIF's that floated arount the Internet.

So I thought, she is lovely, who is she?

Once I found out who she is, then I wanted to see and hear and read more.

Then came the video's, MP3's and whatever I could read about her on the Internet.
I have now imported both her albums, and the En Concert DVD :D They don't sell them locally here in Australia, and it takes weeks for overseas packages to arrive.


Now I am just waiting for the next album...
