Hi all I'm new to the forums. I've actually been on RMJ's chatroom for the last couple of days so I know a couple members such as RMJ ramon johnnp blackshadow...etc. RMJ is such an awesome & amazing person. i know i kept bugging him with alizee questions but he has been most helpful, especially in explaining the moi lolita video to me & helping me catch up 6 years worth of alizee's news hehe

Anyway I am a college student from NYC and i found out about alizee about a week ago (gasp!) and I can't believe how behind i am and everything I've missed. The first time I heard of her I saw a clip of her performing J'en ai marre in the really cute outfit and I thought she was the pretties girl in the world. Finding out her name was Alizee i googled it and clicked the first link and got to know a lot more about her from the fanpage and chatroom

Since then i have downloaded all her songs and videos (probably illegally but i am going to buy her albums soon :wink: ) and I really have appreciated her voice and choreography. granted i generally don't like pop music (esp britney/christina genre) but Alizee is different and I can't explain it :cheesy: . I love her stage presence (it seems like she enjoys it so much esp in the jai pas 20 ans scene where she is banging the drums)!

Unfortunately I know zippo French so I can't understand a word, but luckily I know ancient Latin so it will help me study French in college next semester! it's such a beautiful language, especially coming from alizee

My favorite songs are A contre-courant, jai pas 20 ans, jen ai marre, moi lolita, toc de mac, and l'alize, of course all of them are amazing!

<Sigh> I'm in love with alizee i don't think i've been obsessed with any music star this much, nor listened to a star's music or watched her videos for so many hours. heck i even watched the jessica meets alizee episode of meet the stars for a couple straight run-throughs! i'm ecstatic in hearing that Alizee is coming out with a new CD and hopefully i'll learn French soon and maybe go see a concert in Europe in the near future :cheesy:

oh well hope that long intro didn't bore you i tend to be long winded sometimes. but of course when it comes to Alizee I can't contain my excitement and I never run out of words to say :oops:

Here is a funny story.

My friend in my unit has a picture of her above his bunk and I said to him one day that his wife/girlfriend was beautiful and he said thanks.

Later, another friend of mine told me that he was obessesed with a singer in France and that the picture above his bunk was this girl.

Now we tease him but after looking over some pictures of alizee, I might be sporting the pic as well :oops:

Hello Everyone! I have apparently been a member of the forum for a year but have never posted until now. I have recently been visited by my third round of Alizée addiction, and this one is heavy. I have been pretty heavy on the moi-alizee.us forum the past week. In fact, the addiction came at just the perfect time to prevent me from doing ANY studying for final exams. So here I am, midnight before my last exam and I haven't studied my Cisco at all.. :)

Just registered today...been browsing the site just never got around to registering for it until now. Didn't know so many people had similiar opinions of Alizee!

I discovered her about a week ago. I listen to her music but what I really love to do is watch her videos...she has an amazing face and a great personality, from what I can gather from the interviews. It's only my hope that someday I might see her!

Well, I will be visitin Corsica soon just because. I'm going to be stationed over here in Germany for the US Army and like to travel. Corsica seems like a logical place to start :wink: she says it's beautiful...good enough for me.

Little background of myself. I'm 18, an enlistee in the US Army, and as you know going to be in Germany with my unit. Anything else you want to know feel free to PM me!

Hello, I'm a new member of this forum, from Georgia USA. I just want to say I'm really pleased with Alizee's singing and style. She's got the moves and proves it.

I saw her Live in Amsterdam performance from around 2000+, video recording only, and for the past five years I replay it from time to time. The atmosphere is really great in the video.

And then I saw her profile on Myspace, this last month. I understand thats not her, but there are a number of her videos on the profile, so I kinda got inspired from the videos posted there.

Ya, many people are getting tired of the domestic music put out. Alizee is more like modern pop, but its different. And the videos are cool too. Sadly, I can't buying any of her music on Itunes France. The number of Alizee merchanise on Ebay is really low, so the turn over must be high. ANother group from Europe is Keane, but I'm new to them too.

Subsequent to ages of observing this forum and now, when something sensational regarding Alizée is possibly happening in the temporary vicinity, I decided that it's time to enter the fray.

As an act of discernment, my foremost post to this forum shall be on this thread. For the nature of this topic, I feel obligated to write something about myself in brief.

My abode is in Finland, Espoo to be exact. To the best of my recollection, my first encounter with Lili was when I heard the performance of Moi... Lolita. After that the incidence has been annulled, excluding several occasions.
Some time ago, a friend of mine sent me one of her songs. I was caught at that very second. Since then my life has been filled with Alizée, and I have been reading your thoughts. It has been very delightful.

I "Discovered" her yesterday. I was visiting another forum and came across a thread discussing "the most beautiful celebrity" or something like that... someone mentioned Alizee, a name I had never even heard before, and he posted a photo from the Jean a marre video... need I say more? :wink:

I downloaded the entire video an me and a mate watched it over and over again for like half an hour... Let me ad, me and my mate are both 30 years old so this beahviour isn't exactly common place for us ;)

Anyway, both of us started acting like 14 year old girls discussing how beautiful eyes she had and so on... It was almost embarrasing ;)

Alizee is simply the most beautfil girl/woman I've ever seen. Wathing her videos actually makes me feel good, that´s saying a lot considering I'm usually a cranky SOB ;)

Hello everyone. I'm new to AF and relatively new to Alizée (esp. compared to the true veterans here). All I can say about that is "C'est pas ma faute" :p. Snatcher42 and RMJ (shout out), should recognize me from Alizée America (moi-alizee.us) where I've been fairly active since the end of November (2006). I've only known about Alizée since mid-November when I completely fell for her through the J'ai Pas Vingt Ans compilation by ternuc (you probably know the one) and subsequently through her interviews and esp. Stars à Domicile 2003 (man, that get's me every time). I've been hooked ever since. I'm really more of a long-time anglophile and my screen name is a shortening of "Captain Frank Hollister" a character on the popular britcom series Red Dwarf... that's not to say I haven't had my bouts with francophilism from time to time over the years. Please be patient with me if I repost topics unknowingly or ask questions you guys have known the anwers to for years; AF is huge and I really don't have the time to go back and read everything to catch up; so I plan to just dive right in. Still, I think the past few months and my time at Alizée America have elevated me above the status of ultra-n00b, so hopefully I won't come across as one. Right now I'm a substitute teacher, and having just started a new long-term position, I might not be very active here for the next month or so (althogh I'll still be frequenting Alizée America). Nonetheless, I've been encouraged to join here to be more involved in the Alizée community, so I thought I'd go ahead and introduce myself. Rest assured though, I will be back 8)
