Damageplan was a new band, they released their first album this year. But Dimebag and Vinnie had been former musicians of Pantera before it broke up. And you have probably heard about Pantera.

It looks like the second band member shot was Patrick Lachman the vocalist, not Vinnie Paul. Besides them three other people died and two more were wounded.
At least that sonuvabitch who did this all is also dead...

I can't tell you had sad I am about Darrell. He was the greatest guitar player in the world, IMHO.

SMR, I saw the special. It was OK. I'd rather see more past interviews from Dime and some old film of live concerts. I have the live album and it kicks major azz.....

My pleasure SMR! I love guitar and piano. I just bought an acoustic because the sound is just tranquilizing! I am learning "House of the rising sun" and "Dust in the wind." I wish I could play guitar like some of you guys here. I respect your talents because I know how hard it is to play. The Piano, that's another story; I can play any music especially Chopin's Nocturns and stuff like that.

Cool! Another Nocturne fan! I'm not that great but I can play about 5 and 1/2 of Chopin's Nocturne's. It basically makes up about 70% of what I can play on the piano. :D
