Alizee in Las Vegas

Hey guys i was in Las Vegas last year and got married to my girldfriend of 2 years. When we were leaving, i saw alizee and some other guy. I don't know what happend nor did i know that she was famous. But this last week i found a link to this website concerning about a famous french singer, i said why not and visited it. This is when i found out that Alizee was the girl i saw at the las vegas chapel. I am posting this to you to tell you about this shock news to me.

I am sorry to doubt if this is true, but how could you possibly know it was her if you did not know before hand? I mean, would you remember a girl you saw for a few brief seconds, possibly minutes over a year ago? Too much unanswered. But if this is true, then you are a lucky man for just a faint brush.

you just answered my question. Maybe she was really looking all fine & well, & as they say, 1st impressions last. When you get married at Las Vegas, don't they have like a simultaneous ceremony? So it's possible they were married right after Alizee & Jeremy in line. & plus it was his wedding day, the one special day where you savour everything. Lucky bloke, he got Alizee within it.

If it was anyone other than Alizée, true, but if it was her... even if I didn't know her, and even if she wasn't looking her most ravishing... I don't think I could EVER forget!

Sorry for the disbelievers, um, Her Majesty, but if you give some more details (i.e. the chapel where you were married and the day of your marriage), then people might have an easier time with the credibility of your story.

lol yeah, but this guy was supposed to be in love with her gf at that moment, and that's why he went to Las Vegas and got married, so if I was him, I wouldn't have cared very much about anyone else around.

Mayhem didn't actually meet her, as in a face to face meeting. But he did get to touch her hand during A contre-courant at the Zénith concert. Riccardo, on the other hand, has met her at least twice by my count. Once in Reims, the other in Paris. Check out the autograph he got in Reims:

I'm sure there are others on this forum who have met her too. I know some of the Spanish members have, although I can't remember which.

Even if he did provide us with a cert of his marriage.. it doesnt mean anything realy. Alizée's cert was easy enough to find, im sure there are easy ways to view anyones marriage cert , i dunno for sure though.

Bottom line is, if you were getting married, you wouldnt be looking at other girls would you. Not that you would have seen Alizée anyway, as her marriage would have been very private. They went to all costs to keep it secret, i don't think they would let any old person see her.

Cool! I'd never read that before. I'd only heard what you told me in person and on MSN, but it was really nice to read that, especially in times like these. It really captures the feeling of just being a fan without all of this outside nonsense to interfere. Nice job on being able to get some words out to her during the meeting. If I'd been in your place, I'd probably be making baby noises. :P

And the black dog was Punkie, right? I wonder if Topaze has ever been seen in public.

That was an incredible story. It answered one of my questions which was if she wore the same outfit through and entire concert, and they just assembled various performances for the concert DVD. I now see that you got to experience them all. That's awesome!

Yes, ternuc, you can tell (even though the DVD IS assembled from various performances) that she changed costumes around the same time every show... that's why you have the extended instrumentals in songs like Gourmadises, Mon Maquis, and CTT: it gives her time to change.

And yeah, whenever she (Alizée) would leave the stage before the song was over, and the backup singers finished, or the guitarists soloed to the end, it was to give her a little extra time to change. But she was lightning fast each time. (well, except in Le Havre, but that was an exception...)

I was never sure as to Punkie's gender either, but people on the Alliance referred to her as "la", so I took their word for it. In Alizée's radio interview in Lyon I could never tell if she said "mon petit chien" or "ma petite chienne".
