View Full Version : Transgender - your views on it

Since the same sex marriage debate (Yes, thats what I'm calling it) proved so popular, I put forward another issue - transexuality. Now unlike homosexuality, which according to some people is a sin, transgender is not mentioned in the bible as a sin. I would just like your views on it.
P.s- please don't post things to the effect of "WTF is the point of another arguement", "I think he is just stirring trouble", or "I think its sick" etc.
P.s.s - Don't think of this is another chance to slag people off, think of it as a bridge building exercise - bring people closer together thorugh greater understanding of one another.
(Note to self: you are going to get soooooooo falme for this)
So fire away :D

I'm totally ok with transexuals... byt the way, they are the most denigrated... and some of them are not even gay...
But as I always say... Are you happy? you ain't bothering no one (directly)? then... go on... be happy...
The Real Angelvs (a few seconds before...)
Ps: I didn't know that there are places in the U.S where is illegal to be gay!!! that's the most retrograde thing ever... in the country of freedom!
Ps2: Cool Signature Icyhot... the new M5... I have it for wallpaper...

Life is about being happy. If getting a sex change makes you happy and does not hurt anyone else then I have no issue with it.

There is no such thing as a sex change, but there is such as thing as mutilating yourself (and that's what a sex change operation is).

Bard, keep your mouth shut, Bard, don't say anything, Bard....
Hey, American_Guy, if you're so scared about mutilating yourself, why did you do that on your poor brain?
What, you're born like that? Oh :(
Dang, I did it another time.

The mentality of a tranny is pretty complicated. Some call 'em freaks, others call them mutants. For me, I'm more tolerant of drag queens as their transfiguration is only temporary. As for trannies, I bet I'd understand more if I grew up w/ one of my guy friends who decided to have a sex change. It's hard to fathom a man living off of a bottle of hormones just so he can maintain his "womanhood" and vice-versa for a female tranny. But if it doesn't have an expense on other's lives, then it is permissible in my book. But if it happens to my offsprings...oh my goodness. That is defenitely something to be megadramatic about.

Why would that be the case wouldn't it be best to accept their chosen lifestyle/ sexual preference? Parents should stand by their children regardless of sexuality and lifestyle. In short it doesn't harm anyone and I can't see why its such a big deal.

Eventually I would yield to it for the sake of my kid. But it's something to get used to ya know. You can't just snap a finger and immedietly accept your son turning into Betty Cracker w/ implants on his chest with deducted genitals, and wearing Dorothy's ruby slippers. It takes time to deep-throat this kind of truth.

I don't really have a problem with men dressing in a skirt or bra and makeup every once in awhile for fetish pleasure, (cough friends cough) but permanently, I don't really understand... And plus our "boy=girl" day is now to camo day, and CAMO ROCKS ESPECIIALLY ON TEH GIRLSIS. :)
Go Army! *salutes*
