Thats pretty cool. 8) Although i imagined that there would be a whole lot more of you.
Now what you guys should do, is to teach the press to be a bit more respectful towards a certain french artist. One of the few things i can relate to poland is, that in some poland-interview the interviewers were very rude towards Alizée.

Nice. Looks like almost whole Poland is covered by Alizée fans.
I remember that Alizée's Polish interview. She looked quite lonely in it.

There is no doubt that Poland has more than 34 Alizée fans. But it's great that you can show their location.

Does anyone have subtitles for that short Poland interview? At least I think it Poland. Anyways, she seemed pretty perturbed by the whole experience.

I assume you mean one of 3 things:
1) Go to the Polish forum and ask him for a translation of the video (assuming he knows English and will find my post)
2) Croolik already has a post of the translation in English (in which a direct link would be nice, since I do not know Polish).
3) You want me to literally change myself to Croolik and go to the Polish forum where the answer awaits...

Croolik speaks English perfectly well, and he speaks French better than I do. And since he speaks Polish, that makes him the ideal candidate for translating that interview. :P I bet he would do it for you if he hasn't done it already. I have a translation of only what is said in French. Like usual, they ask her what she thinks of Poland, after having only been there a day and a half, precisely the question she hated whenever she visited a new country, because she reasoned, you couldn't get any real impressions on the country after just briefly seeing its hotels and airports.

Thanks guys.
Yeah, I think that was the only interview where I saw her more than a bit uncomfortable. Maybe that and the Spanish interview. I guess it's justified since there was a language barrier for each of those interviews. I just thought that maybe the Polish interviewer said something offensive to her or something, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Croolik was kind enough to send me a translation of the interview. I just changed a few things in English to make it sound smoother:
I
Background voice: And what does she think about the fact that in
Poland the music of black Frenchmen is very popular? The rap music?
Does she listen to this kind of music? According to her what is the
source of this popularity?
(translation into french)
Alizée: Personally, I don't like it at all.
(translation into polish)
(laugh from background)
II
BV: We in Poland, we are perceiving France as our closest partner in
Western Europe, etc. Does she know anything about Poland and if so -
could she tell what she knows?
(translation, but not exact, the woman says: "do you know anything
about Poland? You're here since yesterday. 1 day and a half. So, do
you know anything about Poland? Do you have any impressions?)
Alizée: It's very cold.
(translation into polish)
III
BV: Now we're gonna ask her...
Alizée: Can we call Olivier for two seconds?
(Olivier!)
BV: So say that this is a programme where there's not any host. She
must record it... (?)"
Explanation:
The programme is called "30ton". It presents music charts in Poland.
It's aired on the second channel of Polish television (TVP2). Each
week there's a different host - an artist or a band. The programme is
divided into small parts. At the beginning (or the end if you prefer)
of each part the host says something about him/herself or a short
story, whatever.
The problem:
Instead of giving full, structured answers, Alizée prefered to say two
or three words which is obviously unacceptable if you want to prepare
a programme such as "30 ton".
The other thing is the choice of questions. If I were her, I would
have acted in the similar way.

Thx Backinblack.
As the result, Alizee left the room and as far as I know never returned.
Then, after this 'incident' some medias made some unpleasant comments on her 'weird' behavior.
Well, personally I still don't clearly understand why she didn't even try to answer 'correctly' - was she tired? bored with questions? (quite possible)
I don't know if it has anything to do, but since this interview, she never showed up again in Poland. Or am I paranoid?

Thanks for the translation, croolik. There's still a lot we don't know about the circumstances that took place around the interview. We don't really know how she was treated before the interview started and the video itself doesn't seem complete, so we don't know what questions were already asked. Or she could've been, as you suggested, tired or bored. But I'm glad this is the only instance where she seems a little less than professional, and it's not even that bad.

i think there must have been a lot behind the scenes that we don't really know about here, it may have even been some personal news, or something happened earlier that day that had affected her...something we don't know about cos i mean she didn't go back to Poland and she looks so unhappy there.
I think something happened and i'm sad that something happened to make her look so sad and react how she did. But i'm happy to see the Polish fans still love and support her

Thanks to all for the translation. It's nice to know what was said instead of having to guess what the hell they were talking about. As far as I know, they could have been arguing about who will win the World Cup. "Poland!" "France!" "Poland!" "Mind if we step outside so I kick your ass? Give me just 2 minutes."
But I'm glad it was nothing like that. :cheesy:
