I've been around this forum long enough to get somewhat of an idea of what everyone's tendencies are when it comes to the use Alizée's name and nickname. But this poll should put things a little more into perspective. So if you'll indulge me...
For me, it's option #1. I could never arrive to use Lili. Don't see the reason to. I don't know Alizée on a personal level, so it just seems strange to me. bleh bleh bleh I know this is just a message board, fun and games, all that goodness. It's not a big deal, but that's just how I feel.

Coz Alizée the most beautiful name i have ever heard.
However, sometimes i like to write 'Lili' because of two reasons. One because its shorter and therefore easier to write. And the second reason is, not to repeat myself too often.
...And yeah, that sentimental thingie too, of course...

I used lili once or twice but it just felt weird. I don't usually use nicknames unless I know the person is okay with it and... well... I haven't ever asked her, so I stopped.

I'd have to go with strictly Alizée. I have too much respect and love for her real name. And since I'm not really sure if Lili is the correct way to write it :/

I like Ali, but I think nobody here calls her that way. But I use Alizée or Lili too. It depends on the context, I guess.

I believe one should be identified as their formal name; to call Her lili would be at least a little degrading to me...
For instance, I don't go by "Joe" *uck* or the sort, and my grandfather went by Junior for a while (his real name is Adolf) but then everyone forgot his name, and sitting in his old wooden chair 50 something years later is pissed off that they forgot his original name... just my opinion... :)

I do call her Alizée alot. Also lili for short.. easier to type sometimes when typing fast. But is "lili" the correct short name for Alizée ? I think it should be more like Lizi ..

I normally type 'Alizée' but if I mention her many times in a text I might also use 'Lili'. When I talk about her I say Alizée

dunno what you mean by "correct" nick name,
nick name is just what her friends end up calling her, which is "Lili"
I like the name Alizée to much to call her anything else

I forgot to mention, that i never use the nickname "Lili" in real life either. Its so much more beautiful to say "Alizée". Though, as said before, its different when writing Her name.

I prefer to call people by their real names, although sometimes I use their nicknames.
Choice 1.

I would never call her Lizi IMO for a few reasons, mostly because I use proper names and of course, it sounds comparable to Hillary Duff , and we don't want to go there. :cheesy:

^lol.. yeah true. I mean, we do call elizabeth ..Lizi for short in England. I suppose it doesnt sound right when talking bout Alizée. However, ill always call her lili or Alizée.
