Have you ever downloaded Chromex's filelist and just stare in awe?
Ever wish that your collection was as beautiful or as organized as his?
Have you ever painstakingly spent hours renaming your files to match his and home.ro's?

well if you said yes to any of these questions, this is the program for you! This simple program, aptly named Mass Media Renamer, does exactly that!

Mass Media Renamer is a simple program that will rename selected files according to their filesize match in a loaded database.

The database included is none other than a comprehensive Alizée database. the naming system is adopted from www.alizee.home.ro and was primarily created as a means of having a standard filing system. hours of toiling and comparing lists and websites has hopefully eased mine and your naming woes.

if you need help or would like to help, please read the readme file.

no idea what .NET is, but if this works well, it'll be really useful
since i transfered files from my old comp to new one via dvd, some names got truncated. I'll give this a try when i get home

You know, most companies pay their translators pretty well to market their product in a foreign language.

would it be possible to have a changelog?

new additions are added at the very top, organized by entry date and who the data was from. editions were just filename corrections throughout the database, that were miss labeled.

i know alot of people here also have jenifer videos, so i'd thought id share this.

Hey everyone. I created a filename database for Jenifer videos that you can use with Mass Media Renamer. At the moment you can get it from here:

http://koti.mbnet.fi/chromex/jenifer(2004-09-17).txt

I've verified that it works well on my share.

If there are any missnamed files or you have something to add then PM me.

i have also mirrored this on mysite.

 Ok Ok, first at all ... I realized of this application just a few hours ago... I have around 30GiB of Lili's video stuff... and I have already organized the videos... ofc I took me several hours to do it (according to the gazko web )... so, here goes my question due to the out-of-date topic...

Is any database file with all the Lili videos up to date???

Can anyone help me out!? pls!..... :!:

This will help increase the number of sources in DC++ if everyone uses this. So in other words DO IT. :bounce:

Actually, sources on DC++ has nothing to do with filename. That's what hashing does, it determines exactly what file you have and matches it up with other ones regardless of their name. What this DOES do is save you the madness of trying to find something in a huge list of unorganized videos
