Hi. I just wondered if anyone has any of Lorie's music? I guess the sounds kind of similar to Alizée, but I think that she is less well known outside of France.

first one i saw was the duel of the stars, where Lorie's "Toute Seule" (dammit, can't spell that last word) got owned by Moi...Lolita

Her first single from her latest album ("Attitude") was called "Week-end" and was a fairly big hit, and like most of her other songs, the music is catchy, but the lyrics leave something to be desired. She followed up with "La positive attitude" which didn't fare as well, and now "Ensorcelée" is her summer offering.

Lorie's market is almost entirely composed of children under 13 years old. The lyrics are pretty standard pop, not even anywhere near as deep as what Mylène writes for Alizée. Therefore, she sometimes gets a bad rap.

And Lorie, like Alizée, Priscilla, or Jenifer, doesn't use her last name in promotion.

I've got almost all of Lorie's CDs. I guess she's kind of a French Britney Spears, but her songs are a lot cooler and catchier than Britney Spears's. And they're sung in French, which is the best! All her singles are great, and Tendrement is probably one of my all time favourite albums.

Obviously you should get Ma Revolution from Le Passage album ( best to get the SACD version of the Le Passage album if your interested). Want videos well there is only one site I know that has any.

Best vid in my humble opinion is Le temps de l'amours performance from TF1. I'm so jealous of the dude in the Star Academy vid on this site he gets to spend time with her in a sauna while she lounges around in a bikini the lucky devil! You will know what I mean when you see it.

I really really really DISLIKE her!!!! She's so dumb. I don't like her music, it's a bit like K3(I don't like K3, lol--> little kids music). All the magazins are full of her, instead of Alizée. I bought a posterbook because it had a poster of Alizée. There were over 10 posters of LOrie, and only one of Alizée. Big mistake....

She is in French magazines a lot too, like Star City and Télé Star.

I saw one of the newest Lorie song, many times on MCM, one of the most playing song there :) hmmm cant remember title... she is singing with guy... not catchy coz its slow, but pretty good song and another Lorie's Clip is playing on MCM, where she is dancing under Palms, in tropics, this song is catchy, in britney style... like others her clips, that i saw 1-2 years ago, but not my style :P

I agree, Priscilla is a bit boring. I've got her self-titled 2nd album, and the new album, though I just don't really like it. A couple of the songs are ok, though her voice can get annoying.
Of Leslie I've only heard a few songs- they're quite slow and tedious, the ones that I heard anyway.
