NEW download channel created!!!!!!!!

Now dear alizee lovers it's time for new alizee server creation...and i - Alizée_Bl@deeK and my very good friend DavidAlizée did that.
We made something like MFIDC but here's one diffrence...and I think it's diffrent in better side, EVERYBODY IS WELCOME THERE, not like on mfidc only those who can ESTABLISH THEMSELVES IN ADMISTRATORS EYES. I think it's unfair that's why i decide to make mine mfidc :mrgreen: . But unfortunately i'm on dialup so I've floating ip and can't be online forever, so we decided with David that he will host server and he did that.

Server configuration:
CPU : 2.7 Ghz
RAM : 256 RAM
HDD : 160 Gb
Connection : 1 Gbps

So I think It will work fine as server :wink:

So how to connect:
Log in Winmx as normal.. Then on the connect screen you will have a green light. Then click the box saying .. "openNap protocol networks"
Click "Add".
Do as on screenshot:

Choose your nick instead of "Alizee_Bl@deeK" and password line you've to leave blank.
Then double-click on created connection. If it connected succesfully server must becomre green
Click "Chat" --> "Yes" --> "List Channels". Choose " bladeek.dyndns.org".
Click on appeared channel.

(if) you dont have Winmx.. go to www.winmx.com and download it.. install it. Follow the steps that winmx offers by clicking everything as "no" then click manually test/configure connection" skip through that.. and wait for green light.. then follow steps above.

and bladeek-- can you go into your -Settings- and tell me what the right proxy address for outgoing tcp socks4/5 is... i think thats where my problem is unless the server is not up..

you dont need to connect with a proxy...

I have updated everything to Winmx server, as its more reliable and doesnt kill my bandwidth. To connect to Winmx.. follow Bladeeks instructions, and dont use a proxy.. If you still cant connect... tick everything for "No" and manually test your connection "dont use automatic" then once you connect the light will tuen green.. and on that screen look for "opennap protocol networks" then follow Bladeeks instructions from 19

Guys..as here been saying "Problems won't come alone"...i see that now "Happiness also 'doesn't come alone"...as I remember my average speed on MFIDC was near 5.7kb/sec..and here I'm currently downloading from our new channel with 12kb/sec. That''s paradox...awesome speed...I'm onthe seventh heaven out of happiness.

bladeek tried to help-- i did everything- and bladeek said i neede msn messenger so i got it- i tried loggin on with the .net stuff/hotmail email and it says i was not connected to the internet...lol

and i keep getting connection cant be made to the bladeek server (red text)

Thanks for trying it out. More users come each day, so soon it will be big we hope. It gives those a chance who can't connect to the hub, or have dialup to get good speeds, and good downloads. Most, if not all of the videos at the hub will be on the winmxserver too. thnx again. =)

Winmx is a programm for filesharing, much like kazaa and others ...

if you read the first post of this thread carefully you may find a link to download it (i think www.winmx.com ).

in that post you can also read instructions on how to set it up.

you dont search winmx, when you join the channel, right click a user in the chatroom, and click browse... then download...

You can't change it...since it's now freename program...if u wanna change name u've to disconnect...change connection properties...and reconnect again...

I can't connect... I make double click and after a while appears "Waiting... (-2:34)" and the clock makes a countdown for the next try. But doesn't make any connection :(

yeah, mirc is used now for downloads, its much faster.

^ go to www.mirc.com and download it, install it... and when u connect, type ur nickname ect.. then on the botton chat bar... type /server alizee.servehttp.com and when you join.. type .. /join Alizee

FAQ:

mIRC is a small chat program than can be installed on any computer. To download mIRC visit http://www.mirc.com/get.html and download it from any of the mirrors. After its downloaded install it..

To begin installtion click next...

Tick the box called "launch mIRC" then click finish..

Now move down to OPTIONS in the right hand side, and click the box saying " connect on startup"

Now click on PERFORM....and type /join #Alizee like in the picture, and click ok

Now.. click the top left icon, looks like a yellow lightning strike.. connect. Or go to file, connect.

Congrats.. your connect to the new Alizée channel. You will now have a small box like this:

Untick the box saying "pop up favorites on connect" and click ok.

That it all done. Have a great time, next time you click on mIRC just click "connect" and you will be in the Alizee channel in seconds..

Yeah, this had to close to make room for IRC. I regret doing that now though. At the time it was one or the other, as i was hosting it from my PC. The hub was getting impossible to chat, so i created the IRC, also enabled a fileserving bot, to download any Alizée video by just typing !list. That is now also closed, and the Winmx server doesnt work anymore.

I was missing WinMX (http://www.vladd44.com/mx) the other day when i stumbled upon something incredible. There is a group out there calling themselves MXPIE (http://www.MXPie.com). They have put together an easy to use update that will once again allow you to connect to the WinMX network. Their update contains no spyware, adware or any other form of malware.

Along with their help, and getting my other computer problem (http://www.gemini777.net) sorted out at http://www.gemini777.net , I was able to enjoy WinMX (http://www.vladd44.com/mx/) better than I ever was before. Not only did they get me connected, they helped me fix my other problems as well.
