Oh yeah, train wasn't any better. We had rail passes so we get free chairs overmight, but I can't sleep sitting up or on my back. So I would always sleep in the hallway or the bike room or under my brother's seat in my sleeping bag on the hard floor. Oh, those were the days, and will one day be the days again!

Glacier Runoff!

That water was just over 0 degrees (celcius). This was taken about 2 miles from glaciers at the Jungfrau in Switzerland. It's a clean feeling like you've never felt before! Sometimes I'm amazed out how awesome I can be.

Right on, some people are so ignorant. I think I heard a story once of some rich sultan who saw the Tower Bridge and thought it was the London Bridge and so paid a lot of money to have the London Bridge disassembled and shipped to him and got the wrong one. Sadly, no refunds on civil works projects. :P

ofc david hasn't posted a pic of himself yet. we all (well, atleast i do) look at david as some guy in the middle of his twenties (?). david likes that. lots of people don't like the way they look when they hit 50, and start with plastic surgeries and stuff like that. david is ofc, as you prolly guessed, one out of many, and tries to hide himself behind the computer pretending to be this guy around 25 with übernice car. just look at his last post, he lol's about a lot, which kids do nowadays. not because they think it's extrmely funny and laugh out loud infront of their computer (even tho that might also be the reason), but because they want to be nice, and not hurt the other persons feelings by saying "man, you're boring..!" or similar. it's a nice way of "fitting in" in the modern internet world and david does the job pretty nicely imo =) lets allow him to keep this image, so other newcomers might actually think that it's "him" :)

Like you can get a toy lightsaber for 20 bucks like I do, or you can pay 450 bucks to buy a Master Replica. Master Replica also sells a whole lot of expensive star treck replica's, and I believe babylon 5 as well. A set of Jango Fett's two pistols from Master Replica's is about 600 dollars I believe.

no no no. I can't speak exactly but I can guess this. It's probably the shock of people seeing your new look, if you had that in the first place, maybe people would not think you look 13, becaues they'd be used to it. I'm going to guess you had a beard for a while, and when you shaved it suddenly, the reaction of course, is AHHHHH.

Care to post a before and after pic? maybe post the after pic first, and then post a bearded one, and we shall see, especially because I don't know much of what you look like in the first place!

I know on new years day, my pops suddenly shaved his mustache he had for like 10 years off, I didn't even think it was him.

heh, I don't have a "before" shot, so there's nothing to compare with....

only got ones like 3 months back, when I still didn't have that much beard....they are probably posted somewhere in this topic :)

My dad this too one summer, and it was really cool, but different. He really likes it though and hasn't cut it off again for the last 10 or 12 years. I always ask him to do it again, but probably not. It's not that I like him more without it, it's just a change.
