New code for dealing with pests that are do-nothings! [Archive]

I just want to propose a new code whereby we all ignore any person trying to dissrespect our feelings towards Alizée.

From now on, if anybody posts something like Bor3dom did, we should all ignore it and not even reply to it. The thread should just continue on from the last worthy post before any Bor3dom-like one that might arise. The person is nothing, the post is nothing and we should give him/her nothing, including our attention.

Its the same thing that governments do when dealing with terrorists: "We do not deal with terrorists."

We should not do what they want us to; which in this case is to reply to their posts.

It would say something for this forum's character, though, if we all see this through.

Just a thought.

What about the new people that come? I know some might not get the chance to read your post so they might reply to another "Bor3dom". Would this just be made a sticky or put in the Forum Behavior Announcement?

Just some things I thought we could cover so this plan has no flaws. :wink:

what about "negotiations with terrorists" .., we should all jump on him.. explain why Alizée is everything not what he said. Explain to them how there mothers dropped them at birth and it isnt there fault.

If enough members voice there opnion, then he wont come back.. and then we ban them..

Golden rules with terrosists are:

1: talk to them
2. Insult them
3 Take action

After all, i don't think many here could let some loser slag of Alizée

The idea itself would be good of course. But i doubt we could unite 'all' the forumusers under this idea. Surely there will be people who will answer no matter what. And in the end, weather we respond to the thread or not, the thread will be gone / locked. So whats the big deal.

That's the thing People will always try and bottle it inside then eventually just explode at the person cos of how crappy these topics and users are...As Ayan says though, ultimately the thread will get closed down and the mods will deal with these people in time

I agree with what you say Orion but when tempers fray after reading a post like that it is hard to just ignore it. Human nature. A PM to mods explaining the prob (quote from the offending item if necessary or u can stand to) is the best bet. The aggression? Maybe invest in a punchbag?

Excuse me, but stopping them is wrong. What if someone comes to the forum thinking Alizée's ass is candy to his/her soul? Do we reject them before we convert them or do we gently educate them to reality of Alizée's total wonderful being? Give everyone a chance. If, in the end, the new person turns out to continue to be an idiot and insists on seeing her as only the best of her sexy parts, then we can shun them and hopefully they will disappear.

Yes, they can but it may be wiser to just think it through before you respond...
Anyways I think there are people who keep it bottled up (L33tzorz or whatever) and then explode, but were the knights who defend the forum and the templars who protect Alizée!! ^^) Obviosuly at this point the person can't be converted, so we can all either let out steam and bash bash bash (which may be violation) or we can say something simple, and not let it get to us. Like-

PM to mods is good because of the person does not get embarassed on the forum and have reputation ruined if they turn out to be an innocent noob posting their first message or similar. Mods can then use their discretion to decide what action should be taken if any.

There can be a lot of different opinions here. I think it's been good in some way for the closeness between the forum members. It would be cool if anybody tried to convert those people, but in my opinion, it'd be not easy. I think they do not have the predisposition for that. I personally don't pretty much offend that kind of messages, cos I don't care at all. So in conclusion, I'm not sure if we should try not to respond those disrespectful posts, or should try to convert the guys who write them.

Yeah for real, just blow them off...they dont have anything better to do than mess with us, might as well we have nothing do to with them. Im just not going to comment anymore, yall do as you please, no sence in it i guess. Though I personally understand why we get so angry at people who do this kind of thing, and its mostly because we (out of respect) defend Alizee and take it personally when someone insults her, or defending our selves, but you all read what I said I kinda blew my top ( again please excuse me) so to me...no sence in adding anymore drama.

Hey guys, I am certainly going to get mad at people that write with no sincerety, no matter what they think about "candy asses," etc.

The reason some of us get mad when people use those terms lamely is for the same reasons why you would get mad at somebody for telling you that your sister has a candy ass. I would bash their heads in. Now, I know Alizée is not my sister, but I do respect her very much sincerely. Don't ask me why, becasue it is just a plain fact.

But, I do agree that we should all talk it through before anybody is verbally attacked on this forum, just to keep the place looking respectable. I am certainly guilty of losing my temper here; as I am sure many are too.

But, if the person persists; if the person is obviously trying to arouse tension to get a kick; if the person is a newbie and starts questioning our feelings, then I say STFU before I FUBAR your ass.

That should always be the last resort, from now on.

And, if they start saying bad things about Alizée, why then, come on the forum in the first place. IT'S A FAN FORUM . . . . FAN, FIRST AND FOREMOST. If you are not a fan of hers, do not come in these waters because there are many hungry sharks. Join another forum.

Well, I have to say it in order for it to be considered, smarty. That's how things operate; first, there is an idea, then there is action, if, and only if, all things are first considered. Now, maybe you haven't understood yet, but instead of trying to be smart, try and discuss and even dissagree with me. But please try to understand what's going on here. Its the storm before the calm. If there is a problem, we discuss/argue, and then, if we all agree, they won't get any attention; will they? :roll: Besides, this thread is not the problem; the problem is all the threads and all the times they will "attack" our forum. To fix that, I think that one thread on the subject will be more beneficial to us then to them, even though they are getting a little attention now.

BTW, I know you did not mean any harm by your post; it's just . . . . . . well . . . . . . . ., you know

Just thought you guys might like to know i had an Epiphany to day.
You know, today in church the speaker we had told us that we need to BRING IN THE EXCLUDED, i dont know if that is clear or not. We more or less are deciples of Alizee in a sence, but more or less we are not the NOUN DECIPLE...that being a title..we must be the VERB Deciple...go out DECIPLING, being that we must go to the uneducated and educate them, pull the people that are open enough to Alizee. In essence we baptize them....let them hear and see...nay let them experience Alizee, and then from there lead them in the right direction, teach if we must.
That in short is my goal....with both my relgious beliefs and my love for Alizee.
We must offer the people a chance more or less and decide for them selves weither or not to follow. And here this forum, this is the fellowship, this is the culmination of Alizees fans throughout the world. As much as I would like to hope were all happy here, and more or less if we want her to be even bigger than she already is, we need to spread the word, because we all know people who know people, and even if we each get one person hooked on Alizee, thats one more person, and before you go to bed that night...you know in your hearts that you opened a whole new world and outlook on life to these out casts, the uneducated and the skeptical, and I dont know about you guys but to me thats the greatest gift I can give, helping even one person to experience somthing new and opening a door for them that they could have NEVER opend themselves.

so..............................there..........I said it.............................ALIZEE be perfect is thy name, but if an Angel has not a name, then I will scower my heart and my whole world for a fitting title for the love of my life....yes......wild and pure...for fitting a title is......Be LOVE IS THY NAME.

....ok I cant sleep....but let me just say......to know that I brought the same kind of JOY...LOVE....HAPPYNESS...nay PASSION into somone elses life that Alizee has brought into mine, to know that..........i dont know...its more than I could ever ask for from anyone. Truly we all want to be happy....and if I can do that by introducing Alizee to even one person.......and they pull from that relationship that or more than I have.....I would have completed my initial goal.....so I'm going to say this and if anyone has a problem then they can bite me....

I was referring to those that are not open to Alizée; those that ridicule her dancing, singing and looks, and make fun of her. These peolple, I will not waste my time with.

Haloraven, I think you have just had one of those moments where you have just lost it.

I have lost it so many times that I even created a thread for posting whenever you lose it, so as to let the people know your wonderfull feelings!

There are so many people on this forum, but I think that we are part of a select few: Kenny, Ron, Jaycubed, and myself. Sometimes I feel that we are the only 4 who really really care for her and that the rest of you are simply "riding the storm." So, to see that you have such feelings too, I get over that thought and want to include others into this special group of power 8) hehehe . . . . . well . . . . . you know, we are powered by her!

Well more or less I think ALL of you understand what i ment there, and no I didnt loose my mind there, or what ever....but mearly trying to get you guys to see its better to help others understand what we think and feel instead of attacking first. Not to mention i would really like to see more of you guys be a bit more open minded to others comments, as in not getting mad when a 15 year old kid comes on here saying how nice Alizees ass is....and then we tear him down about how ignorant he is in saying that....but rather we need to "set him down" and show him who and what Alizee really is, to us and to the world...then let them make up thier own minds on weather or not they would like to persue a relationship like the one we all have with her.

Still....STFU over FUBAR.
