Which is her real last name? im assuming its pronounced one way and spelled another. so which is it?

And is her birth name really Alizee or Jennifer? On IMDB.com it says "Jennifer Jacotet"

yeah, her parents named her after the wind, Alizée is definitely her birth name (you know how hard it is to type a accented "e" on a laptop?!)
and her last name is Jacotey, as petsku1 already mentioned

Most of the information you find on imdb is user-submitted. I've even sent in some stuff myself a long time ago. So someone could send in false information, and they'd never know.

Jacotey - Somebody please teach me how to pronunce that. I heard from Graine de Star the announcer pronunced it sumthing like Yak-koo-tee

Or do you think the french would not happen to know, how to pronounce the names in their own language.

She explains her name in an old TMF interview.
Saying her parents love windsurfing and that Alizée means a constant wind that blows from subtropical area's to the equatorial silentbelt, or something like that oO (too hard to give a proper translation of it)

Alizée in 1 word means in dutch: "passaatwind", but I can't seem to find an english translation.
