OH happy DAY: question Would you all do the same???

Though this might not be important to some...but I gotta say it anyway.

Just this afternoon I was in a book store when I go to the music area...im like what the hell might as well CHECK to see if mabe they have a cd of Alizees.....and to my GREAT SUPPRISE they did

SO I am the BRAND NEW OWNER OF Alizee's Mes Courants Electriques.
It just so happened to be the ONLY copy of the cd the store even HAD...they only imported a very limited few of them...and since the cd came out they only sold that few...so this cd sat on the shelves for over a year.....makes me so happy its mine...but also cry for the people of whome do not have this wonderful beautiful angel in their lives.

ON a side note....at the moment I am deleating all the "BORROWED" music that friends have given me...downloaded off of the web...ect...
out of respect for her...Granted im keeping the videos....its the only right thing out of respect for Alizee that I can do.

Soo wonderful to hear.....as unfortunate as it is...the demand for Alizee and the beauty she brings to peoples lives is not of great demand in the USA. Quite a heart breaker...but I am going to do everything in my power to get any and all of her Other Cds as soon as I can.
I play music, not as a professional, but for fun and I have friends that have cut records, hell my little sister is a Opra singer, with this love and respect for music that I and friends have, we are forced to turn to other methods of getting music. IM sure we all know of what i speak...and it pains me to say that, but I am glad I dont have anything Illegal on my pc anymore as of 5min ago. A great weight has been lifted and I am 100000000000% happier now that I can truly say I went out of my way and FOUND her music, insted of borrowing music that friends have "Found" from god knows where.

I check for Alizée's CDs every time I check for new CDs. I ask the checkers if they are going to get any. I'm hoping they will think of ordering some if I keep mentioning her.

Just knowing that somewhere in the US has her CDs gives me hope.

That's great! I wish my book/music store would ever get any Alizee' in. We have a listing for one in the computer but no company that we buy from is ever able to fulfill the order.

So far I've only found "Gourmandises" at the local Amoeba's record store but that's been it. I keep hopin the local Towers get off their butts and get some in. I finally got a day off so I think I may go out and see if I get lucky.

here in Belgium you can find her cd's quite iezelie, and it makes me feel so happy, knowing that i can get them just like that (and i did :mrgreen:) this isn't meant to make u feel bad of course, i just see what y'all wrote and it hit me, i'm so lucky to live here!!!!

btw, Alizée has said herself she doesn't mind people downloading her music, as long as they buy it eventually, so if the dl'ed songs convince the person into buying it it's all good to her...

Her CDs were hard to get here but I'm happy I have them both. I've downloaded fanmade remixes. I don't think there's nothing wrong in downloading her songs if you buy the CDs too but you don't need to dl if you already got CDs.

Thanks for the support, and though it maybe true that Alizee does not care aslong as we get the cds someday, i think its the respect thing again, just to me it feels rather wrong to down load others music they put so much effort in to. Never the less, given the blessing or not, in my opinion a true fan would do what they can to NOT have anything along the lines of illegaly dl'ed music, but thats just how i feel, im not attacking anyone here if they DO have downloaded music, im happy for everyone who can hear Alizees angelic voice, but i can hear it now with a clear head and not feel bad that i had do dl the music.
And yes i was very lucky to have found her cd. Im just byond overly joyed.

Thats truly all I could ask of a true fan Pieceofparadise, and its just my luck every place that I HAVE looked for her first CD...they either had only 5 ordered ever and are out...or Have the ability to order more but wont be in for who knows how long because...and this pains me to say...she is not "An important investment" for the CD and book/import stores. I used froogle (you know that shopping thing on google) to find her CDs. I got Mes Courants Electriques (with an added track) for less than 20 bucks! They had her other album and most of her singles on froogle too but I bought a 19in dagger instead :mrgreen:.

Yeah the actual mce cover/booklet is the same as the French one inside the presentation box so no worries there...and get both cd's :P :P i have the French version and the International version...it's worth it :D

I you decide on the standard MCE, then you might aswell get the digipak picture sleeve! version (book-like cover/non-plastic case). I don't know, besides it being limited edition, it just feels better; it is more befitting. Besides, those plastic jewel cases have no love to them. Conclusion: Get the digipak picture sleeve!). .
