Her first single was quite sucessful here and made the top 10 of the charts. She has done well in Italy, France etc. So do you think she'll ever come back to England?

Mes Courants Electriques?

She hasn't released any of her singles in the UK from the MCE album, though has she?

She should do because I think she would be succesful.

As she has recorded some English songs for the new album, maybe it's a sign?

Well, if Alizee were to come to England again, surely she would make more of an impact if she released her english songs, as unfortunately a lot of the music here is English spoken.

Well, she's still very young, hopefully leaving a lot of time for her to come back to England. Although, I would be very disappointed if she didn't...

That's a big hope if you ask me. But the U.K. can be a good place to test the waters.

I wonder if it was at the Paris... :P

AimLXJ

No, because she can't get married in France, is that correct? I remember reading that said so

jaimeAlizee

Why wouldn't she be able to get married in France?

Doh, do some researching like I did when I first found out about Alizée :D
23. # Who is this Jérémy guy? And is Alizée really married to him?

Jérémy Chatelain is a singer who got his start on the French reality show competition, Star Academy 2. Alizée and Jérémy met on March 25, 2003, on the set of the show Eurobest and the two got married in Las Vegas on November 6, 2003. It is unknown whether the marriage was ever legalized in France.

something like that, so thats why they went to LV? :cheesy:

That just means they were married in America, but no one knows if that wedding counts for marriage in France! It doesn't mean that they couldn't have gotten married in France if they wanted to...

The marriage was registered in Clark County, Nevada.

I don't think so. All I've read so far is that they did not register their marriage in France only.

yeah... i dont. i know english and a few words in japanese, that's it. you are right though, just about everyone in europe knows some english, and getting around isn't that hard from what i've heard, though i cant know for my self since i have yet to go there, but that'll change eventually.

Not even that. As the FAQ says, it is simply unknown. I.E., like jaime said, she coud very well have registered the marriage in France (doing so is fairly easy), but we don't have any information about that either way.

BTW, she was married at the Excalibur resort/casino.

Really, I didn't know that. I guessed it was at some small chapel or something, not a place that is on the strip. Guess I'm wrong.

i'm guessin the marriage shouldve been legalised in Frnce, cos she wouldnt want her baby to be a bastard and all! (nothing against bastards though!)

staos
18th April 2006, 10:16
Why would her child become a bastard? She is still legally married to that Jeremy fellow so whats the problem?

I don't think so since her marriage was already legalised in the U.S. before she gave birth to her daughter. I don't know what the laws in France say though about having a child if you're not married, if this still applies to Alizée and Jeremy in France as no news of this is known.

A "bastard child" is simply a child conceived out of wedlock. If Alizee's baby was conceived before Jeremy and Alizee married, then the baby is a "bastard child."

kinda too cruel label for something like that :/

Emmerdale001

It's a very old word. It goes back to Old French. Back then, bastard probably didn't have the same meaning it does today.

If Alizée wants to break into the U.S. market most likely she would at least try to make an impact on the U.K. first. It's a lot nearer and easier to do so.
